Red and Pink for Color Hues

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.

This month Julie B. picked our colors.  She chose....

This bear die had been sitting in my NBUS box for almost a year.  I had intended to
use it during Christmas, but never go to it.

Lucky for me it works great for Julie's challenge and for a valentine
for one of the grandchildren.

I die cut the pieces from scraps of cardstock.  Her sweater was embossed with
hearts and then I covered it up with arms.  Her scarf is red glimmer paper and the
heart (which covers a divot in the front) is cut from rose glimmer paper.

Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer, my friend JoAnn, have done to inspire you.

I hope you'll create a card using Red & Pink and add it to the gallery at

Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on February 14th.

  1. You fooled me! I thought when I opened your latest post, it would be a "turning the page" post. It must be cold where you are as it is really cold here in Sunny Florida. It's a good thing your bear is keeping warm - he has enough body fat so staying warm should not be a problem. His scarf look pretty real!
