Winter Cheer for CAS Watercolour

It's the start of a new year.  I hope it's a good one for you!

Our first, and very appropriate challenge for the year at
CAS Watercolour
is hosted by our very talented Susan

Here's what I did.

This was done with a Penny Black Brush Stroke stamp place in my MISTI.

I've inked small sections with Distress Markers, stamped then moved
the ink with a damp waterbrush and stamped again as needed
until I was happy with the images.

The big leaf on the left was the first one and didn't look too good.

Using a frame around it covered up the mess boo boo.

Some chunky Frantage added some snow to the scene.

The Design team and our talented Guest Designer, Janet
have some awesome samples to inspire  you.

I hope to see your creations at

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  1. Your wonderful watercoloured foliage is perfect for the theme Bonnie, and very honest of you to admit to a boo boo, but it looks perfectly framed within the pierced rectangle, and the colours, especially the berries, are really beautiful and love the pretty blue sky and falling snow too. x
