I'm also glad that I got to do some crafting.
This month's Twofer Challenge is celebrating
their 2 year Blogaversary.
Congratulations Twofer!
This month's challenge is
My first card went with an non-traditional design from a heart die.
I've die cut the heart twice from coordinating decorative paper and trimmed
with scissors for the bathing suit shape.
For my twofer, I've gone more traditional that can be used
as a valentine, wedding or anniversary card.
The smaller heart is from the same die as the bathing suit.
This time I used my griddle and lots of clear, white and gold embossing powder
to do a faux enamel technique.
The larger heart and love were cut from a piece of packaging or envelope lining
that I had saved and the background is a bit of paper with gold sparkle.
The Krafty Chicks Challenge is asking for CAS cards this week.
So I'll stop by there too.
Enjoy!

Great Twofer cards Bonnie! I took me a while to figure out where the heart was in card one (this is before I read your post). It's so clever and creative! Your second card is elegant and beautiful. LOVE the enamel heart! xx
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you the clever gal with your twofers Bonnie! I love the little bathing suit you have created with your heart, reminds me of when we would take a heart and make a butt with underwear. lol You have the whole suit though and I love it. I love your second twofer too, done in a traditional way. The enameled looking white and gold heart is just gorgeous. You hit this challenge out the park! Hugs, Brenda

Genius! Man I don't know how you do it, but the bikini idea is fabulous from a heart! Two great cards, Bonnie
ReplyDeleteHysterical, Bon! Whatever possessed you to think of making a two-piece swimsuit, especially in the thick of winter?! It is brilliant ~ looks like it might even fit my 44 xlongs, lol! Your brilliance continues with the wave embossed circle background and the wavy flow of the happy sentiment! To show your range, you went completely opposite with your second design and made a stunning elegant rich-looking double heart with a marble design! WOWZA!!! Love the elegant background paper, too!
