Sending Gnome Hugs

Hi there.  I hope you're doing well.

A while back, my friend Nance came over for a day of coloring while
socially distancing.  It's good that I have a large room so we can easily keep our distance.
We kept our masks on too.

She brought some of her NBUS stamps and let me ink them up.

This gnome was one of them.

I stamped him with Memento ink on mixed media paper and colored him
with Zigs and my waterbrush.

Since I want to send this to a friend, I opted to use a sentiment from
a Simon Says Stamp set instead of the thanks stamp that came with the gnome.

Nance had gifted me with a gnome stamp a year or so ago.  He's been stamped
with Distress markers and colored. He's waited patiently to be added to a card.

  1. These are both adorable! When I was a kid I was sure there were gnomes and fairies living in my grandmother's garden...this proves I was right!

  7. You know... I still have several not yet used S. Bellas a friend gave me. I really need to get busy with them, but they're just several of uber-many not yet used stamps, and more on the way. Crazy! But your first gnome is just so darn pretty with the flowers and your watercoloring, and the second so sweet and happy on his swing. Love these, Bonnie!

  8. Bonnie these cards are adorable - love the gnome under the flowers, that is such a fun image, and the wee fellow on the swing looks so pensive and almost ethereal.
    Stay safe

  9. You know I had a visit from my nephew last week... The only person I have seen since February... What a joy it was. It must have been fun for you getting to meet with your friend too and create two wonderful cards. That gnome under the flowers is so cute and I'm loving the little one on the swing! Have a beautiful weekend my friend... be well!

I love the colors you chose for him and I love your watercoloring (nothing new there, I always love your watercoloring). You second gnome card is so wispy/dreamy looking for the background and I am so loving that look you got! This little gnome swinging is so cute and again I am loving the colors you used.
