Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I love poppies and I love dies that add texture and dimension. So when I saw
this die in a Simon Says Stamp release recently, I snapped it up.
I am not disappointed.
There are pieces for two poppies on this die and I cut them out of
mixed media paper.
I laid the pieces on another piece of mixed media paper and watercolored
by picking up ink from the inside of some Stampin' Up inkpads. My messy
watercoloring added some color to what would become the background of my poppies.
I die cut the "over wash" piece, assembled the poppies and added them, stamped
and die cut a sentiment and it was done.
