This Bloomin' Heart is one of my favorite items from the Occasions Catalog.
This is on it's way to my Aunt Marian. She loves pink.
I pulled out a frame from my snippets (it's a leftover from diecutting stitched rectangles)
and embossed it. It works really well to anchor vellum so the adhesive doesn't
show on the front.
I adhered the die cut heart on the vellum.
After cutting some extra flowers (the dies are included), I sponged them
with ink and added a yellow center with a SU Marker.
While holding my breath, I stamped the sentiment.
Such a relief to get it straight!
I'll take it over to
since I used a snippet of a frame and snippets for the little flowers.
Simon Says: Have a Heart
I'm so happy you stopped by.
Enjoy!

The name of your blog is quite appropriate --- You always design with class - big time class! This is beautiful Bonnie -- I see one of my friends is commenting on your post. Sarn is one of my favorites - such a nice lady!

Your aunt will Love her pretty card Bonnie. Great way to use up your die cut frame scrap and also to anchor your vellum. TFS my friend.
Just delicate & beautiful and perfect for your Aunt. Love the frame work, and had to look back after reading the post, to realize it _was_ framed. At first just thought the pink was adhered to the mesh embossing. THat's a super idea to hide the stick-it stuff for vellum..and this is so pretty in the pink with that gorgeous heart. Loved the added flowers too. Happy V. Day. TFS & Hugs
You're tempting me to buy that die! You used it beautifully with the darker flowers attached on top.
Such a pretty heart, and your flowers are absolutely gorgeous, Bonnie! I also love the effect of the vellum and your embossed background! Really stunning card, as always...and I'm sure your Aunt Marian is going to love it, too :)
