I inked up these stamps with Distress Markers, spritzed with water and stamped on
watercolor paper. By using my MISTI, I could stamp again to add more definition.
After the images were dry, I added some clear water to the background
and dropped some color into the puddles with a waterbrush
and moved it around a bit.
Since my robin is playing in the puddles, I'm going to enter this at
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
APRIL - SHOWERS
I hope this will count.
and since I gave this to my friend, Macie for her birthday,
Penny Black and More

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Bonnie this is absolutely gorgeous. I also like the embossing folder very much too. Barbxx
So very delicate. You are nailing the distress inks and water spritzing image cards. Loving the background, the ever so pretty stamps and all layered up on that gorgeous texture with the embossing folder. Love it! x
Beautiful card Bonnie - the whole card is so delicate and pretty
Blessings

The look of this card captures all the the wonderful feelings of spring. You sure do have this watercolor technique down pat -- looks realistic and soft -- like real nature looks. The way you did the watercolor background adds such a nice touch as does the lattice EF.
Bonnie, I love the awesome look of this water color images, I just got a shipment of beautiful distress inks and I'm going to give this technique a try, the wash in the background is amazing, just beautiful. You are indeed nailing this technique, thank you for sharing.
Maria.
Bonnie, your watercoloring skills get better with each card! This one is lovely.
Wow, stunning watercolor,Bonnie! Gorgeous springtime card! I love this and have to remember to spritz !
When I first saw this I thought how pretty and then I looked up to see who made the card and I was not one bit surprised.

Amazing stamping technique! I'm going to try it too. Really Beautiful card.
I Love your spritzed stamped images and your wet on wet watercolored wash Bonnie. SU a creative and artsy clear my friend. TFS
Awesome card! It looks more like a true watercolour painting than a stamped image. It makes me thing of some of the beautiful Chinese or Japanese watercolours I've seen.
Wow! Just. Wow.
Wow, this is simply stunning Bonnie! It never looks like this when I stamp and spritz. lol I love the added addition of water and the look it created. A beautiful scene. Hugs, Brenda
What a great watercolor look..loving the branch blossoms, that great puddled background, and of course, that beautiful bird! One of my fav EF, and the earthtone of the mat is so pretty with the colors in the 'painting'. You're rocking that watercolor stuff! TFS & Hugs (oh yeah, great work with Misti as well! The mini is working out better for me, than the larger one. I'm finding that I use it more is probably why!)
I haven't seen this PB and I love it and I love how you have puddled your watercoloring so gracefully, Bonnie! It looks like how the scene would look through a rain-wet (wettened?) window - very arty!! Hugs, Darnell
Wonderful card, absolutely stunning, I love it.
This is so beautiful Bonnie. Great job with the watercolour spritz technique, and love your background. xx
