This is a CASE of a card that I've seen on the web. I think the first one published
was done by Stampin' Up!
I used the Watercolor Pencils to scribble lines on watercolor paper
and used the Aqua Painter to move and blend the colors.
This is the largest dragonfly of the set. I die cut it from Shimmery White cardstock
and cut another body from copper foil.
This was super easy and quick.
As Darnell would say, here's a twofer....
A very Quick and CAS card! A die cut dragonfly from black cardstock
and a piece of embosses white cardstock to sit him on.
I used a snippet of ribbon from my stash to add a little more contrast.
I'll enter in some challenges:
THINGS WITH WINGS
Enjoy!

Ooooh! I'm loving that delicate watercolour wash BG on the first card Bonnie. It sets off that elegant butterfly perfectly. The monochromatic effect of the second is super striking too and another brilliant showcase of your dies. Thanks for playing with us at AAA Cards this week.
LOVE those fabulous dragonflies Bonnie and I love the colour wash of the first and the drama of the second in B&W! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx

Two dragonfly beauties, Bonnie! Especially love the wash behind the one on card 1!!
Adore that background Bonnie, so bright and beautiful and just spotted from Sarah's comment it is in AA, thanks for joining us x
Amazing how the different colorways on the backgrounds make these cards so very different and both equally gorgeous...mustn't have favourites! x

Love the look of the water colour wash and then i scrolled to the next card and wow what an impact it makes with just the white background. Hugs Mrs A.
Two fabulous cards Bonnie. Love your watercolour wash, I never seem to get such a smooth blend and can always see the pencil marks. I'll just have to keep practising!
Two beautiful cards, my friend. xx
Both cards are lovely!
Wow - what stunning cards Bonnie - they are both really dramatic.

Both these cards are beautiful, and so different. Don't you just love that dragonfly die!
The dragonfly cards are lovely Bonnie.
I love both your cards Bonnie, but the splash of color behind your 1st butterfly stole my heart! I must try that with watercolor pencils. Love both your die cut dragon flies and dry embossed background on the 2nd card. TFS my friend. Hugs..
P.S. your card works for this weeks SCS CAS422-Winged Things challenge too.
Love the watercolor background. It is like watercolor and dragonflies were made to go together. Your other card is quite cool too. I did something similar in pink.
Sweet card! Love the watercolor swaths on the background which really make the dragonfly pop! Thanks for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge! hugs, Maura
Although both cards are very attractive, I like the one with the watercolor background the best!

Both cards are gorgeous, but I must admit I love the paint swatches in the bright colours of the first card.
