I don't think I'd ever tried the spotlight technique so when I saw that
The Flower Challenge was asking for this technique, and saw what the
Design team had done, I thought I'd give it a try.
Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge.
And 4 Crafty Chicks
Anything goes with a twist of sympathy or ATG
I'm hoping I can make it into the
Less is More Challenge
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Have not seen the spotlight technique before. Looks so good with this interesting stamp and easy way to make an element stand out.
Perfect stamp for this technique ...which is new to me. You did a great job on that flower, LOVE it! xx
It's been a while since I tried this technique too. Just love how you colored & featured the thistle, Bonnie!!
Spotlighting can be tricky, but you really nailed it! Great card!
Gorgeous card here Bonnie! great stamping and love the 'spotlighted' thistle too. Thanks so much for sharing with us over at 'The Flower Challenge' and we hope you will be back soon ;) Viv DT xx
For someone who'd never done the spotlight technique before, you did a fabulous job!! Great choice of stamp for it - I think my problem with trying to do it was picking too fussy a stamp. Maybe I'll give it another try before the challenge is over. Love the way the butterfly seems to be lured to the purple thistle!
I LOVE that you chose the thistle for your spotlight, such a beautiful card.

Beautiful spotlight technique for your thoughtful Sympathy card, Bonnie. I wanted to play, but think I am running out of time. Hopefully the challenge will remind me to try this technique, again..it has been a long time, since I last used the technique. Gorgeous samples by the DT. Hugs..
