There's still some time to join in at
I am really enjoying this technique!
Thank you for choosing it this month, Jenny.
I colored it on the front side with Zigs.
It did curl the vellum a bit, but I used it to my advantage. Flowers are not flat IRL.
I popped it on a piece embossed with my new embossing folder.
I found it on Amazon and it was too big to go through my Big Shot.
An Xacto knife took care of that. I can use it on portrait and landscape cards.
You'll probably be seeing a lot of it!
have some wonderful inspiration to share with you.
Hope you'll pull out your vellum and watercolors and have
as much fun as I did.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

The gorgeous shades of pink of your flower really pop against all that wonderful white space Bonnie! And flower is so soft and delicate and the shaping adds some lovely dimension. Great texture from your new embossing folder. What a great find! The skinny, square framing brings focus right to the beautiful flower. Great design, my friend! xx
Absolutely stunning Bonnie! love the colour of that flower. xx
gorgeous Bonnie, I love your die cut colouring with the velum, another technique to CASE :)
Beautiful and delicate, Bonnie. Gorgeous watercolouring on vellum. Love the embossed background. xx
Beautiful die cut vellum flower, Bonnie. I Love your watercoloring of your flower with Zigs. So pretty! Wonderful dry embossed background for added texture and sweet narrow angled frame. Love every detail of your gorgeous card, my friend. Hugs..Nancy
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the frame around the die.

Great find on Amazon even if you had to do surgery. That flower is gorgeous and your water color is beautiful. The shading is lovely and the flower and leaves. Cute little frame to showcase the flower.
Has to be one of my favorites - love the embossed background!

So pretty! And No, I have not tried water coloring on Vellum...but your lovely card has sure inspired me to give it a try.
The texture from the dry embossing looks fabulous and Wow to that vellum die cut flower...Your design looks so striking and the frame on the tilt adds a contemporary feel to your stunning card...love it x
Beautiful card with the watercoloring on vellum. TFS
Love that new embossing folder! And your watercoloured vellum flower is gorgeous. Great way to add interest with the frame set at an angle.
Gorgeous! LOVE that ef, and your colored vellum is gorgeous too! Quite interesting is your flower is behind the frame on bottom, then in front of the frame on top!
So gorgeous, Bonnie ... the background texture is just delicious ... and I love how you framed that wonderfully coloured bloom with the perfectly 'frilly' petals ... beautiful! Hugs, Anita :)
So beautiful and it was certainly not easy to cut out the flower like that.

gorgeous and so very elegant Bonnie...love the look.

WOW...this is absolutely GORGEOUS Bonnie! I love how you spotlighted that beautiful vellum flower with the simple white frame and the embossed background all in white adds so much lovely texture too...LOVE this card!! :0)
Do you have a license to do surgery, Bonnie? ;) I would do it too to be able to use that wonderful folder, Ms Embossing Queen. I just fished out a flower I colored on vellum and die cut but didn't like. Now that I see your wonderful creation, I could use the same die without embossing the flower and just color it. Your card is spectacular but how did you glue down that flower? I love it part in and part out of the frame.
Wow this is so elegant and sophisticated, Bonnie! I love the pretty tone of pink and rich green! You inspired me to try coloring my vellum die-cuts with Zig markers. The script embossing in the background adds so much interest (worth the surgery!) and the thin tilted frame is such a well-thought-out, clever design element. This has become my favorite Corn Flower die-cut card, my friend!

The vellum cut with this delicate flower die works wonderfully with the natural curl after coloring it - a beautiful card Bonnie!
Vellum does curl a lot, but you definitely used this to your advantage, so clever. That pop of colour against a white on white BG and white frame make it spectacular. A beautiful CAS card dear friend.xxx
Gorgeous card Bonnie, your watercoloured die cut flower on vellum is soooo pretty
