There's still time to join in at
CAS Mix Up.
I'm hosting this month and I chose....
I have classes almost every month and we use baby wipes to clean the stamps.
When the wipes get really full of ink, we noticed that the ink was transferring onto our hands
and onto our cards. Usually the color transferred where we didn't want it!
So I wondered if we could intentionally transfer the ink for backgrounds.
It works quite well!
I just take the wet wipe and scrunch it up so the inky part touches the
mixed media paper and smoosh it around.
If I need more color, I dip the wipe into an ink pad, get a bit of color
on it and add that to the mix.
It's easy and a great way to make that ink go a bit further and
create a different background.
I hope you'll check out our challenge.
There's so many ways to use baby wipes on your cards.
This is just one of them.
There are videos on the challenge site and our
fabulous Design Team and talented Guest Designer, Berry,
have some awesome cards there to inspire you.
Hope to see you in the gallery at
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Another cool way to use baby wipes. So, now we keep our soiled baby wipes and paper towels. My craft room is going to look like a waste basket! Seriously, this is so pretty. That is a very clever use of them and made a great card. The different colors of ink blended so well. That's a pretty flower die.
Such a unique and artsy background and a fun way to use the baby wipes.....Wonderful CAS card Bonnie x
CAS and just BEAUTIFUL Bonnie!! I love your colors in the background and how perfectly your all white bloom pops against it! I just watched all the videos with the baby wipes yesterday and am hoping to play along soon! Way more ideas and stamps than time to do it all...grrrr!! But anyway, lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
What a cool technique - and I love the look!!! Beautiful card Bonnie.

Bonnie, I love the artsy random colours from the ink transfer. great technique :)
Great way to capture some of the ink that would nornally be discarded Bonnie. Pretty card!
Gorgeous background with your baby wipe transfer, Bonnie. The colours are so gorgeous together, and the transfer is delicate and artsy. Perfect with your sweet white die-cut outline flower. xx
Love the pretty background you made with the baby wipe. A lovely card and a great technique.
Well I guess if it can be transferred with paper towel, it can do the same with a baby wipe! Oh the things one learns! Who knew that baby wipes would come in handy when you don't have any babies or kiddo's. lol I love your card, your background is so pretty with color to highlight the beautiful flower. Hugs, Brenda

Lovely card!
This is such a wonderful and unique way of using baby wipe, Bonnie! I love the soft, delicate, and artsy effect! The color combination is so pretty and the repetition of Orchid Oppulence throughout the card adds a sense of unity. The way you placed the die-cut white flower is perfect.

So COOOOL! I love this artsy appeal with these beautiful colours. It nearly looks like the wax crayons left on my wall, hahahaha! Seriously, I simply love this. The orchid opulence ink is truly the perfect choice along with the solitary bloom. Great framing ...again xxx
I got away from using baby wipes but maybe I'm missing the background boat by not using them. They made a great place to show off that die cut flower, Bonnie.
A beautifully composed card. Each element is perfect. I love the multicolored background and a beautiful layered flower.
Hugs,
