Starry Village for Rudolph Days

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Today I'm playing with Scrappy Mo's Rudolph Days Challenge.

I'm not sure who makes this die.  Maureen gave me this die cut when
I saw her at the ESCR Retreat in May.

The background is a saturated paper towel from mopping up ink. I
separated the two ply and used just one of them.

I've put some Dazzling Details on the background and spread it out for
some sparkle.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Christmas Sentiments (PB)
Ink:   Pacific Point (SU)
Paper:   Neenah, Pacific Point (SU)
Other:  Paper Towel, Kars Snowflake EF (Ret. Cuttlebug), Dazzling Details (Stickles should work), Die

This die looks great in white with the contrasting inky paper towel in the background Bonnie and a lovely sentiment band below, and also some pretty embossed falling snow in the background. A beautiful card. x

My goodness, those paper towels are the gift that keeps on giving! The contrast between the die-cut scene and the background is stunning!

Oh my goodness, Bonnie. I am in love with that background. What a great idea to reuse the paper towel...and to separate the ply!

Beautiful card and glad to see you used the die. I think it is a brand from Europe and I am not on the floor of my house where I can go look it up!

I can handle the two sets aof stairs all in a row now, but have just been up and down them several times doing the laundry so my knee is a bit sore now...

Thanks for taking part in the August Rudolph Days Challenge.

This "northern lights" background is perfect for that detailed die cut. A very merry card, keeping the colours down to a minimum makes for a great balance. xxx
