This was so hard to get a good picture of. The Blue foil is gorgeous and this
odd angle shows it best.
It's another of the foiling cards that I did at the ESCR retreat last May.
I used some special glue on a stamp, stamped it onto cardstock,
laid a piece of foil on top and put it through the laminator.
Edited to add: The girls tell me is was Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Here's a link. https://www. simonsaysstamp.com/product/ Therm-O-Web-TRANSFER-GEL- iCraft-Deco-Foil-4825-MTOW4825
I had great success with it. I've been reading that a lot of people aren't having good luck with it. I don't have a laminator myself so I can only vouch for my two attempts.
To make the card, I die cut the image and popped it back into the frame
the die cutting made.
All that was left was to stamp the sentiment and heat embossed with clear powder.
I'm adding this to the CAS Mix Up gallery.
and in the CAS Christmas Gallery
Enjoy!

What a beautiful scene, Bonnie and I bet the shine on the foil is wonderful IRL. That sounds like such a great technique too and will really stretch your stamps.

I know that blue shines! Love the stamp you used too on this beautiful card.

What a stunning effect with the fabulous blue foil. It is such an elegant and stunning card Bonnie x.
The foiling looks fantastic Bonnie in that pretty blue and it must be so shiny and pretty in real life but tnis is so difficult to capture in a photo. x
Beautiful Bonnie, the foiling looks so elegant in blue :)
An absolutely beautiful and perfect winter scene, Bonnie - love the blue and white (and wish I could vote for your card for the challenge!).
Serene winter wonder. I love the detail to this card. The monochrome works beautifully for this special stamp too. A classic beauty dear friend! xxx
A picture perfect winter scene. Beautiful blue foiling. x
Beautiful, Bonnie! I LOVE this image done with the deep blue foil. xx
Now that I'm recovered from that scare, I fully appreciate the foiling on your gorgeous card, Bonnie! Reminds of Blue Willow china!

Wow, Bonnie! This is gorgeous! Did you use the Deco Gel on them? I have some. Tried some time ago with a poor laminater and it didn't work. Now I have a better one so thinking of trying this again after seeing yours. What a beautiful scene in blue foil!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bonnie and I bet the shimmer and shine IRL is AWESOME! Such a lovely, lovely scene!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful, Bonnie, and foil is definitely hard to capture! Curious what "special glue" you used on a stamp for this...?
What a gorgeous card Bonnie - I would love to see it IRL, as it must be stunning with the foiled image
Blessings

Oh to see snow again - I can feel the chill of winter coming off your card!

Bonnie, what a gorgeous scene you have created. Lovely card, my friend.
I love the peaceful shiny blue village scene, Bonnie! The sparkle must be amazing with this delicate design of the image. Deco foil transfer gel worked very well for me too.

This is the essence of a winter scene card! Peaceful and lovely.
I can only imagine how beautiful this card really looks. Great selection of colors, blue foil perfectly reflects winter colors in a monochrome card. I have gilding glue at home, but when it dries it leaves a dirty sticky surface on stamps and I don't know how to remove it. That's why I don't use it.
Hugs,
