I have a set of cards I did using the Split Four Technique.
I first saw this technique done on Marcia's blog and I was intrigued.
I looked through my stamps to see what I thought would work for this technique.
This Altenew Wildflower Garden set was sitting in my NBUS box and it seemed to
be a good candidate for this technique.
Once the stamping was done, I cut the piece in quarters and decided how I
wanted to orient them.
Some die cutting, narrow mats, splattering and a bit of embossing and I had
four cards.
I left off the sentiments until I decide what I need to use them for.
This is a great technique for some quick cards.

This split four technique is a wonderful idea Bonnie and love the cornflowers beautifully coloured and two with a pretty butterfly, and then two without. Some spattering and layering onto darker card using a stitched rectangle looks great too. x

I'm not familiar with that Altenew set, but I think I need to go check it out as it worked beautifully for this technique!! Love the addition of the butterflies you added to two of the cards too! Oh, I saw this on Loll's blog and tried it right away...I think I need to be more selective with stamps, I had to do some "filling" in on some of the quarters (*wink) but I did love it and will try it again. Your card is fabulous...and I love that you added butterflies to some of the cards and I LOVE the splatters too! Heart Hugs, Col
They may be quick, but they don't lack for beauty. I've been eyeing this technique and do want to see what I have that I can use for it. I don't have many solid stamps, for shame. Must work on that (more shopping, tsk tsk). Your cards are gorgeous and will be even more so when you add the sentiments.
What a fun technique Bonnie, I love how yours turned out the flower as the focal points on the 4 sections is a stunner. I need to try it with some solid stamps.

I Love your Split-4 Stamping pretty flowers stamp set, Bonnie. Adding your butterflies to 2 of the cards and splatters and narrow frames to all the cards fronts made such a pretty set. I am hooked on this awesome technique too because of our talented friend, Marcia:-) I have tried with stencils too, which works great if you have the right stencils:-) TFS your beauty. Wonderful set of split 4 cards. Beautifully stamped and finished off perfectly with die cuts and splatters. Will need to give this a try.

Your split 4 cards are so beautiful, Bonnie! Each card has a wonderful design, and I especially love the ones with a gorgeous butterfly! The fine spatters and the yellow Prills are the perfect finishing touches!

Great designs, Bonnie. And this technique is brilliant because it allows you to create 4 beautiful cards in a short time. I love those wildflowers and the colors you used. Butterflies beautifully complement the cards, and a delicate splashing adds lightness.
