Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I had a tough time coming up with a card with flowers and a number on it
for The Flower Challenge this month.
My granddaughter will be 14 her next birthday so I have a card made ahead of time.
I hope I don't forget...
This is a free digital stamp from Power Poppy. I've printed the no-line version on
mixed media paper and used my Zigs and a waterbrush to color it.
The numbers were cut from the finished panel. (It always makes me so nervous
to cut into a colored piece!) I also die cut the numbers from a bit of foam so I
could raise the numbers up a bit.
A sparkly happy and stamped birthday finished it off.
Marcella is offering some of her Spring Digital Stamps at 25% off this month.
It's a great time to stock up on her beautiful images.

You have such a way with these digital images, Bonnie - love the no-line look - and would also have been a nervous Nellie die-cutting those numbers from it! You did good, my friend - and I'm so happy to see your granddaughter's number in our gallery at The Flower Challenge!

This is such a fun design with the popped up numbers. I love the daisies in those soft colors.
Gorgeous! Oh this one is a winner in my book, Bonnie! Love the subtle no-line look of the flowers, and indiscreet numbers are just perfect. Love LOVE love this
I couldn't think of anything either, Bon, but I love what you came up with and so will your granddaughter! I just love how the numbers are hidden in the beautifully painted daisies! Have a great weekend! Love, Dolly

Beautiful colouring and colours, love the way you die cut "14", and a gorgeous sparkly happy birthday to finish it off! Sure hope you remember you've got it made ahead of time - I've done that before and then totally forgotten I have the card!
This looks amazing. I know what you mean about cutting into a panel like that, a nerve racking experience, but you pulled it off beautifully xx
Fabulous make Bonnie - I am rubbish with digis and am envious of the beautiful creation you have done here! Your granddaughter will love it. x
Oh what a good idea! Looks great!
BIG WOW !!! This card is simply stunning, Bonnie! I love daisies and your coloring is so beautiful, I love the gentle coloring and no digi-stamp black lines. Numbers popping out of the background are the perfect idea to keep the entire background while hiding an additional element in it. This will be your granddaughter's favorite card.
hugs,

Bonnie, the colors of these flowers are just perfect for a sweet 14 year old, I love how you popped up the number, I've always liked this style, I must remember to do this next time I create a birthday card.
Thank you for playing with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE.

This is so pretty. Another fantastic use of the hidden die-cut technique to incorporate numbers without covering up any of your beautiful colouring. Your granddaughter will love it.
This is fantastic Bonnie! Love the soft, summer colors. How beautiful this is. I too hate cutting into artwork for this technique but it sure looks great. Your granddaughter will love it. Your painting is so well done.
OMG Bonnie, such beautiful colouring of the flowers and your hidden numbers look amazing backed in black. I've only just discovered digital images, I need a lot more practice :)
This is a great design with the large numbers cut from and the beautifully coloured PP floral Bonnie, and a fabulous card for your 14 year old granddaughter. x
How beautiful with the no-line coloring! Very soft with the colors you chose. I saw that Power Poppy is starting up a monthly Blossom Challenge. Love those stamps!

Wow, this is a stunning card Bonnie! I love this digi, the daisies are so pretty but you have made them come to life with your watercoloring! It is scary cutting into a panel after all that work went into it, but your numbers look great! I know your granddaughter will just love this card. Just so stunning and gorgeous! Hugs, Brenda
