I stamped this beautiful butterfly on vellum with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed.
When cool, I colored the backside with Copic Markers.
Did you know that if you're doing this technique and you don't like the colors,
you can use a bit of alcohol on a swab or your 0 Copic to remove the color?
I found that I could do this several times without ruining the vellum.
I used part of this flower stamp inking and spritzing with water for
a place for this butterfly to visit.
Then I got a little carried away with the splatters.

Oh my, that's a beautiful butterfly, and he has found a lovely flower to visit. It looks like a fluff of cotton candy. So soft. I think your splatters are just right!
I never think to use velum and it's such a beautiful base for images. Love the card ♥

The vellum makes a perfect butterfly medium. LIght and airy and that puffy flower is a perfect landing spot.

So pretty. Live that trick with rubbing alcohol, but it works better with thick vellum, which I need to get. 😂
