Vintage Lace

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I recently had a play day with this fabulous emboss and stencil set.
A very sweet friend gave me this set for my birthday.
Lucky me to have such wonderful and generous friends!

I used the colors (or close to) for the Altenew Inspiration Challenge this month.
Double D Challenge is collaborating with Altenew this month and they would
like to see stenciling.  Inkspirational wants us to use stencils too.

I haven't done a lot of layering stencils, but this was easy and went pretty smoothly.
I did get too much ink on one leaf but we'll blame that on climate change.  Okay?

Challenges:
Double D - Altenew Collaboration Option use stencils
Inkspiratonal #295 - Use stencils

Card Recipe
Stamps:
Ink:   Scattered Straw, Brushed Corduroy, Peacock Feathers (DI)
Paper:   Neenah, Vellum
Other:  Vintage Lace EF & Stencils (Alt), Blending Brushes, Sweet Sentiments Dies (Alt), Nesting Slimline Labels Die (Alt)

Enjoy!

Wow Bonnie, I am loving the colors on this stunning card! The flowers are gorgeous, I've not used any stencils for coloring flowers before but think it is genius! Looks like need to get me some down the road. LOL Love the embossed background and the shaped label die. Hugs, Brenda

This is gorgeous and I would not have noticed the overly-inky leaf at all! Love this, just stunning!

Bonnie, what a gorgeous floral branch - where has this one been hiding? I love that embossing and you already know how much I love this label die.
What a wonderful card for these challenges!

Climate change must be ok because the leaf is beautiful and so is the rest of the card. So very pretty and I do love all the embossing.

These colors are beautiful together and on this flower. The unusual shape of the label die adds so much interest along with the embossing folder. Delightful!

I haven't tried any layering stencils yet but might have to after seeing what great results you got on those flowers! Love the way you put a full embossed layer behind the label die cut embossed layer!
