Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I'm back as Guest Designer at Just Us Girls and it's Word Week.
What's the word?
I love putting frames on my cards!
This frame layout is a CASE of Jean's card (Studio JD).
I loved her off set frame!
The bird die was a birthday present from a special friend.
I die cut the cardinal from Mixed Media paper and watercolored using re-innkers.
I could have made it into a Christmas card but decided to go for a summer card
for my sister-in-law who loves anything cardinal.
Challenges:
Just us Girls #739 - Frame
Four Seasons - ATG Summer
Time Out Challenges #269 - "It's always Summer somewhere"

You are so dog gone clever - love visiting your blog to see what you think up next. While some people say clever, others would say creative.
I hope the storm does not pass your way. Last night's weather map showed "Debbie" going right over your house!
You are in my thoughts today -
Sandy xx
Love this! Anything with a cardinal on it is an A+ in my book, but the framing and the tree branch add such a great touch!
You and Jeanne have really made a statement with your offset positioning of your frames, Bonnie! I love what I'm seeing from your 'window' frame!

OH! I Love it, what a wonderful idea and card. Love the Cardinal. x
Very charming card and SO glad you didn't turn it into a Christmas card...in August!
You've picked the sweetest little subject to frame, Bonnie! What a wonderful card!
Bonnie... just beautiful! Thrilled you are spending time as a guestie with us again!
There is so much beauty and dimension on your card that I feel like I'm looking out a window, Bonnie.
Such a fun red bird within the frame! Love this 😍
I love the bright and pretty cardinal against the soft blue smooshed and spattered background Bonnie, and what a wonderful CASEing of Jean's card with the leaves coming from the edge of the card and under the frame as a perching spot for the fabulous bird, and love the gold pearls as a finishing touch. x
What a wonderful design, Bonnie. I love your cardinal and the background you gave him. The off center frame and the under the edge branch look fabulous. Thanks for your wonderful contribution to our challenge at Just Us Girls, and for sharing at Time Out and The Four Seasons Challenge too!
Thank you so much for sharing your Fun Play Day, Bonnie. I Love your beautifully framed bird and branch card:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy
Great offset frame for the pretty cardinal! I like how the branch continues off to the outside of the frame too.
Your off-set frame and Cardinal make this a BEAUTIFUL card Bonnie! I love the branches coming out of the off-set frame too! Sweet, sweet card my friend! Hugs. :0) P.S. Hope you're weathering the Debbie storm ok...think of you every time we watch the nightly news!
I love the way you've framed the bird! Gorgeous card!
Yes, beautiful -- and the off-set frame is amazing! Love the idea -- beautiful bird and card!
A wonderful card - Bonnie - love that offset frame, and the way you have staged your card, at first glance I thought the flowers continued onto the card!
Blessings
Maxine
Congrats on the GD! Looking forward to your month's of cards. This is fabulous.
Oooo - just love your cardinal, Bonnie!! Great shading and dimension to him; thanks for the inspiration on using this set (just got mine in the mail). Love the branch flowing outside the frame too!! Congrats on your guest spot!!
Beautiful card, Bonnie! Love the way your frame is offset from the centre. And that is a gorgeous cardinal - so well coloured!
Sweet card Bonnie. Your SIL is going to love it! xx
A sweet cardinal and that frame is wonderful offset like that.
How wonderful you transformed your cardinal into a non-Christmas card for your sister, who I know will love it, as do I. The offset frame certainly adds to the impact! Thank you, again, for being such an inspiring guest designer.

This is beautiful! I love the pretty cardinal sitting on the branch against that amazing background. I really like the offset frame with the branch continuing out of the box.
A beautiful card Bonnie, Thanks for sharing with us this at Time Out!
Hugs, Kate (DT Time Out Challenges)
So cool to see a non-Christmas cardinal card. Fabulous framing. Congrats on GD.
Your beautiful cardinal card is all 'klass' Bonnie. Beautifully coloured, soft background and off set frame is sure a winner. Loveit!
Love that bright red cardinal against the white. He's beautiful! Reminds me I saw one on our fence during the Debby deluge last week. We had moved the birdfeeders in case of wind. I don't think he was happy about it. lol
Gorgeous cardinal, and love how you framed him and part of the branch.
Hi there, sweet Bonnie: Well, yet another stunning Summer card. That cardinal is gorgeous and I love it against the white background. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Four Seasons. Your faithful participation is such a treat for us, and we truly appreciate you.
I hope you'll come play along with us over at Word Art Wednesday as well. Awesome prizes and always Anything Goes/Family Friendly, so your cards would always fit. I hope to see your there. www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
