Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's been a crazy busy week with doctor appointments and cataract surgery
but I managed to get this done and just realized that one of the challenges that
inspired this card is about to close.
I used mixed media paper to stencil on so I could use a damp brush on the ink
for a watercolor look.
When the flowers were dry, I splattered with a bit of white gouache.
The sentiment pieces were colored with a light hand and the ink left on the brush.
Challenges:

Hi, Bonnie! I'm so very happy you thought about us at The Flower Challenge while getting back on the crafty horse! Such a lovely, stenciled group of Poinsettias in these pretty peaches!
Something is awry with my Outlook at the moment and I'm unable to reply to emails - but I did get yours! Hope you have continued progress with your eyesight after surgery, my friend! I hope your world is even more clear and colorful! xx

Beautiful peachy poinsettias. Love the embossed background framed sentiment. Glad your cataract surgery is over and went well. I also had mine done several years ago, a simple surgery and it went well. Hugs.
I love the peachy tones for your beautiful poinsettias Bonnie, and a lovely shaped sentiment mat and finished with some pretty spattering. I didn't realise that you were having cataract surgery but glad it went well and hope everything is much clearer and colours truer now. x
Absolutely beautifully stenciled Poinsettias Bonnie, and they look so pretty in the peach color! One of our garden centers has all different colored Poinsettias at Christmas time, and now I'm wondering if they have peach colored ones that I could bring home for the holidays?! But back to your card...it's GORGEOUS and I'm loving your burlap embossed background too! Also glad to hear your surgery went well and that the cataracts are gone!! Lots of hugs my friend!! :0)
What a great take on our Peace on Earth mood board! I love the peachy coloured poinsettias! Nice treatment of the sentiment too with the fancy die cut shape. Thanks so much for joining us at Peace on Earth.
This is gorgeous! I LOVE peach--probably my favorite color--and these poinsettias are beautiful! Awesome job on them! I hope your cataract surgery went well, too!

What a pretty color for poinsettias, Bonnie. I love the extra details with the sentiment panel and border. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls and The Flower Challenge. I didn't know about your cataract surgery. I'm sure it went well as it's a common thing at our age. I've had both of mine done.
These are my favorite colors and I just love your non-traditional Christmas colors, another one of my favorite things. What fantastic splatter too. I've yet to master that one without a mess or a blob. Beautiful!
Oh boy, is this ever PRETTY! Love your peach poinsettias, Bonnie. Sure hope your surgery was a success and that you're healing well. My dad just had both eyes done over the past month and no longer needs his current glasses... YAY!
I love the peach, such a beautiful card. Glad to hear you are recovering from surgery. x
That colour is gorgeous and I love the soft look and those splatters. Hope you get over your surgery quickly and your vision is much better for it xx
Amazing how you nailed 2 mood boards on 1 card! Wonderful card… the peach colour is so unique and unexpected.
This is so pretty! thanks for sharing this goregous card over at The Flower challenge!
I so love that you took inspiration from a halloween themed moodboard to create this gorgeous Christmas card. How clever of you to use the colors of the gum drops!!! I love the way you think!!! or maybe "see" is a better word! Your card is gorgeous. I love the way you framed out the sentiment too. Wonderful card, Bonnie!
Wow - love the stenciled poinsettias embossed with burlap - such great texture, Bonnie!!
This Stencil Th is really beautiful. I love your card, peach poinsettie look elegant, and white Splash perfectly finishes the card.
