Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
How are you coming on your Christmas cards?
When my sweet friend Michele came to visit, she brought her night and day pine press plates
and they were the first things I dug into. I had a new set of ink cubes from
Pinkfresh Studios and we found that they worked beautifully with the Betterpress system.
This was my absolute favorite of the two plates. It inks the background and leaves the
pine boughs looking white and snowy.
The Immense Joy die cut was a fun surprise in the mail and I thought they went
together beautifully paired with my favorite Nativity die.
I used a little chunky gold embossing powder on the center of the O and heated
from the back for a "starry" backdrop and layered the white die cut slightly offset
from a gold die cut.
I'm hoping to find these press plates half price one of these days (wink)!

Beautiful pine background, Bonnie - perfect behind that jumbo JOY with the Nativity O - love this!!
That big O was the perfect placement for the most wonderful OH Holy Night of all!
Your snowy boughs look so beautiful as a backdrop, Bonnie! I'll let you know if I see that sale you're looking for! wink

Truly BEAUTIFUL card Bonnie!! I love that background (I might have to look for that sale too!) and your nativity edged in the gold and surrounded by the word JOY just couldn't be any more perfect...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Who would have thought that we could get immense joy from that Immense Joy? It works with so many images and your nativity is a perfect example, Bonnie. This is such a beautiful card.
Beautiful pine background for the big JOY and lovely nativity die cut. Love your card.
Oh, goodness, love the snowy pine bough background, and the nativity die is perfect in the immense O. Such a versatile die and a delightful way to use many smaller dies and stamps in the center. A beautiful card, Bonnie!
I see why you were drawn to the pine plate! It makes a beautiful background for the Holy Family. Wonderful card, Bonnie. With all of those black Friday deals coming out, I hope you find the sale you're looking for!
Beautiful card, Bonnie! I love the way you created a starry sky with chunky gold embossing powder. I've used chunky white ep for snowy skies but never thought to use gold for a starry sky - will definitely be doing that!
Beautiful Bonnie, your Joy looks so pretty framed by your pine branch background and your nativity scene fits perfectly. That's such a fun die to play with ♥
Beautiful -- those pp are just so regal, I love them both but also pull towards leaving the needles white. Great cards, and what's not to love about that Nativity?!
That press plate has worked so well with that gorgeous deep green ink. It is definitely worth experimenting with different inks and pressplates. I do love the finished look of this one xx
The large PB 'JOY' die looks great with the nativity scene added to the centre of the 'O' Bonnie, and the gold layer beneath add lots of pretty shine, and the green inked background using this beautiful press plate goes brilliantly to give contrast with the white branches..a wonderful card. x
So fresh and crisp with the green and white combination.
The Betterpress made a lovely background. Those pine branches are so beautiful against the dark green. LOVE the nativity scene inside of your "O" in JOY. Beautiful card Bonnie!! xx
Oh My....Your Christmas cards are ALL so Beautiful and Inspiring, my friend:-) Thank you so much for sharing, Bonnie:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy
So beautiful and elegant. I have this Joy die and have yet to use it.
