Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
So far our storm has produced sleet and not a lot of freezing rain.
We are warm and still have power. As I write this the precipitation has
started again. They are predicting freezing rain again. Hopefully it won't
cause problems for us. However, this storm has caused a lot of problems
all across the country. Prayers go out to those without power in these
freezing conditions.
So today was a crafting day...
I am still enjoying those Greetery dies and embossing folders that I got
for Christmas.
The die cut oval was embossed with the center of the Shortbread Shapes Snowflake.
I patted over the embossing with a white inkpad to highlight the snowflakes and
added a tiny snowflake sequin to the center.

This is soooo pretty Bonnie and perfect for a Winter birthday!! Love the design of this card too...would never have thought of using an offset oval over the center embossed design! Creative and out of the box thinking my friend!! Hope these storms go away quickly for everyone...I think we've all had enough!! We're at a balmy 6 degrees this morning and I think it's supposed to get up to 11 or 12 today...sure beats the negative temps we had this weekend! Take care my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Love the embossing on this beautiful card. x
I love the creative way you've used the set, Bonnie! and that gorgeous teal color really lends itself to the white ink beautifully!
I have hope that you'll stay safe and fully powered, my friend!

Very pretty winter birthday card. Love the teal panel with the white highlights and cute little snowflake sequin. The background is just as lovely. Glad you still have power and hope you don't lose it. My prayers goes out to all those in this terrible weather. Stay safe my friend.
You've layered this in the prettiest of ways, Bonnie! The teal looks so pretty with that crisp white. Glad you didn't get hit hard and hope it stays that way! We have a foot or more of snow and it's cold, but we're good!
The sequin was the perfect touch . Your embossing always looks so clean and crisp. So glad you did not lose power - thought about you last night and wondered how long it would take for the storm to move out of N.C. We are expecting freezing temps here tonight.
Stay in - stay warm and keep those cards coming!!
Sandy xx
Gorgeous layers and sweet embossing! This is a terrific winter Birthday, with winters colors and shortbread design.
The embossing really stands out with the white ink. It's a wonderful winter birthday card, Bonnie. Thanks for sharing it with us at Time Out.
Beautiful embossing folders and a terrific design. That color combo is so pretty. I'm glad you are okay there and hope no problems with the current rain coming down. Stay safe my friend.
Such a creative way to use those Greetery products, Bonnie! Your card reminds me of the Star of Bethlehem shining in the sky, and I'm sure your recipient will love it! Stay warm and stay safe and hope you continue to have power!
Excellent man and winter birthday card. Stay warm and safe.
I'm so glad you had time for cardmaking. It turned out to be a truly beautiful winter card. The color choices are lovely, and I understand your fascination with using this set, which you received as a Christmas gift.
I'm glad the weather didn't cause much damage where you are. However, I've seen other parts of the US where snowfall was truly massive. It's the winter of the century. Warm regards and don't give up on winter.
hugs,
BożenA xx
Beautiful texture with all your embossing. Stay nice and warm inside and I hope the power stays on xx
Your oval panel is so beautiful in these colours. Love the beautiful embossed design and adding the white ink to highlight makes it even more special. So happy things are OK with you and hope that continues, dear friend. xx
This is a gorgeous card, Bonnie. I love the teal with all that wonderful white. The embossing is wonderful and I love the placement of that oval. Thanks o much for playing with us at Time Out. It's always lovely to see you in the gallery!
This is the prettiest winter birthday card with all the stylized snowflake texture. It works beautifully as a masculine card. I do love that tiny snowflake sequin, too!
That deep blue embossed panel looks so pretty against the wh ite embossed background and what a great idea to rub some white ink over the raised areas which looks beautiful, and finished with a lovely matching sentiment. This makes a delightful birthday card Bonnie. x
so pretty, love it. Thank you for playing at the AAA Birthday Card Challenges
