Love Bookmark

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I usually read on my Kindle and don't need bookmarks, but I do use actual books
for my Bible and study books.  I love having a pretty bookmark to save my place.

These backgrounds were done by blowing colored bubbles in a cup and dipping the
cardstock into the bubbles.  You can read more about this technique on this post.

I made one for each of my small group study partners.  They were very well received.

Challenges:
Double D - Bookmarks or stamps
Penny Black Saturday - ATG using Penny Black

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Delicate Florals (PB), Faith (PB)
Ink:   Versafine Clair Nocturne, Distress Inks
Paper:   Neenah Solar White
Other:  Ornate Tag Topper Punch (ret SU), Corner Rounder Punch (Fiskars), Ranger Fineliners, Bubbles

Enjoy!

How thoughtful of you to make those for your study group, Bonnie. I tried that bubble technique but didn't get the beautiful mix of colors you did on these fabulous bookmarks.

Beautiful! What an awesome, thoughtful gift for your group -- something you all can use, PLUS something homemade for you all to use. Sweet gift and very pretty!

I love these, Bonnie. I use them and collect them. Everytime I travel I pick up a bookmark in a gift store. The verse is beautiful and it is a wonderful gift for readers.

These are so pretty, your small group members may be distracted from reading just by looking at how pretty they are!!!

I remember doing that coloured bubbles technique many years ago - it was fun - you've inspired me to try it again. You got lovely colours on your backgrounds (and I love the varied colours of the flower heads).
