It's time for another challenge from Color Hues.
This month our talented Tracey picked our colors. She chose....
Aren't these perfect colors for October?
Originally I was going to do something with pumpkins but when I opened a
surprise package from Michele, I knew I needed to go in another direction.
Recently Michele posted this card when she was our Guest Designer and I loved
that little bird and that she used vellum for the background. So I CASEd
her card using the new Color Hues colors.
I had some trouble figuring out how to put all those die cut pieces together!
So I got out some Press & Seal and put everything back together on the die.
After that it was smooth sailing and I LOVE the results!
Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer Annette have done to inspire you.
Your card and or project can use ANY HUE of the TWO Colors selected for you,
and of course, neutrals are welcome.
Our Neutrals are: white, black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, and metallics.
Remember that green is not a neutral.
I hope you'll create a card using Orange & Black and add it to the gallery at
Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on October 29.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

This is such a pretty card Bonnie! Love how you scattered the leaves around the window and created that bird to resemble the Towhees that are one of my favorite birds. Beautifully done!

You know, I saw and lived Michele’s card but it didn’t occur to me that this was a CASE. These colors really gives this bird a whole new feel. Really love this Bonnie!
