St Nick

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This St Nick die set has been sitting in my NBUS box for over a year.
Darlene and Diane gave me a good reason to get it out.

I raided my scrap bags for colored cardstock and cut away!
So many little pieces to put back together.  I do love a puzzle though!

I added some ink blending to all the pieces before assembling.

Since this Santa is so tall, I thought he would work great as a money holder.
I cut and folded for a Monarch size slimline card, adding an extra 1 1/2 inch
to long side.  That 1 1/2 inch is folded up to hold the money.

The Merry Christmas die he's standing on is from an old and long retired
Stampin' Up! die set.

Challenges:
Peace on Earth #122 - See mood board below
NBUS #91 - Never Before Used Schtuff
Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. - Embossing week

Card Recipe

I love this set and made a card back in February with him. I also have another one cut out and ready to put on a card so I may be joining you at Peace on Earth, Bonnie. Making this into a money holder was such a great idea.

I love this old-timey Santa! He reminds me of my small collection of "Pencil Santas" I've had for ages. Great idea to make this into a money holder, and who better to deliver the gift than Santa? So cute!

A wonderful idea—having the card serve a dual purpose! It will convey heartfelt wishes while also delivering a gift of money. I’m sure the recipient will be very happy and truly appreciate your card.
