It's time for another challenge at
I love to color.
I just can't decide which method I prefer!
Today, I colored with Zigs....
and some Wink of Stella.
I stamped one of the butterflies from my
Happy Little Stampers Butterfly Birthday set,
using black Archival ink.
The coloring was done with Zigs 31 & 81 and my Aqua Painter.
I wanted a tall, skinny card so I cut a piece of watercolor paper
12 1/2" x 3 1/4" and scored at 6 1/4", embossed down the middle
and scored the edges.
After fussy cutting the butterfly and placing it on the card,
I coated the wings with Wink of Stella.

i love colouring with chalks the most, I think, but generally i just enjoy colouring! My latest delight is adding WoS to everything :-) i am addicted to it!

I love digital colouring and water colouring although I have just purchased Spectrum Noires markers, will need a lot of practice though.
This is so pretty Bonnie! I love the subtle shading you achieved with your Zigs on the butterfly...so soft and delicate looking! And I love the tall and skinny card base...I will have to try that sometime! :0)
I'm with you, Bonnie - I love to colour and can't decide which method I prefer. I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of my Zigs - seeing all the lovely cards people made with them and then trying Loll's finally wore me down and I ordered them. I'm calling them an early birthday present for myself! Love the colours in your butterfly and the shine from the Wink of Stella. And also the shape of your card - it's fun to see a tall narrow card for a change.
I just love to color. Lately it is always with Copic markers. I love the sparkle on your card. I can't get the hang of that Wink of Stella. I need more practice.

It looks really amazing! Butterfly placed on extruded panel is wonderful. And in my favorite colors! Great card.

It's been a while since I've done a tall card and I love the embossing down the center, Bonnie. That beautifully colored butterfly tops it off perfectly.
