Poppy Trio

I love these poppies and inked them with Distress Stain and Markers.

Then I used a damp Aqua Painter to move the color around.

I finished off by dotting the centers with a black marker.

The aperture was cut with my Circle Collection Framelits
and embossed with my favorite embossing folder.

Heather Telford has a fantastic tutorial on this technique.
Thanks, Heather, for sharing your technique.

DIES AND/OR PUNCHES

Cuttlebug Mania is looking for
EMBOSSING
(I used my Big Shot to do the embossing)

because I used a snippet of black for that sentiment.

Thanks for the visit.

Enjoy!

Pretty, pretty. I think I colored this same image with Zigs, while we were in Fla (in October). Your w/c is - as always - gorgeous, and this looks lovely, framed in the black circle, with that wonderful SU Emboss look. Very classy & welcome colors on a gray afternoon. TFS & Hugs

What a fabulous water colour image Bonnie! I love distress markers softened like this - and the crisp die cut backing is a perfect foil.

Love this stamp and how you colored it -- such a vibrant yet soft look -- and a nice change from looking at Christmas cards (!). Your water coloring techniques are amazing.

Beautiful poppies! It's so cold and frosty here today so it's nice to think of sunshine and summer flowers!

Those poppies are gorgeous framed in black with your signature embossing, Bonnie.

I thought that was an aperture instead of being layered onto the embossing. Gorgeous! That red POPS!
