We've finally had our first frost here in Eastern NC!
It's beginning to feel more like fall.
Deanne has given us a color challenge this week.
I've inked the Woodland Embossing Folder with Smoky Slate ink,
sprayed with water and embossed.
I made quite a mess! But I was able to salvage a small piece that didn't look too bad.
It's a good think I like CAS cards!
I grabbed some snippets of white cardstock and tore them for snowbanks.
Then I smacked the piece with VersaMark and used some Heat & Stick powder,
heat embossed and added Dazzling Diamonds to get that frosty look.

That frosty look is gorgeous. The pop of red for the cardinal makes this card.
This is gorgeous! You have used a technique that I've never done successfully and just love the hint of gray on the embossing! It makes those trees stand out so perfectly. And thanks for the morning chuckle about the mess! What you salvaged looks fabulous!
