Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I've been having a lot of fun embossing foil!
I love this 3D embossing folder and it makes such a quick and easy card.
A pass through the Big Shot and a light sanding is all it took.
The butterfly was die cut from a snippet left over from another embossed background.
Earlier this week I Zoomed with friends and we all embossed and sanded (or not)
foil and shared what we'd done. A fun technique is even more fun when shared with friends!
Here's a few more that I've done. (Did I mention that it's habit forming?)
For the Christmas stash.
And using the other half of the embossed piece.

That was great fun and so inspiring to see everyone's cards. These all look amazing in your post, Bonnie! I may have (ahem) gone and found all the e/fs everyone else used because, you know, fabulous + two packs of TH metallic foil paper! Thank you for enablingagain ~ new word in your honor, lol! Hugs, Darnell
WOW this technique is so eye catching and absolutely stunning. Love them all but the first one looks extra special Bonnie x. Glad you enjoyed zoom crafting with friends x.
That technique makes such WOW! cards, Bonnie. I just ordered a few things and wish I'd gotten some foil so I can try it. By the time I get home to my foil stash the trend will be over. Doesn't matter. I love it well enough to be late to the party. ;)
I can see how it would be addicting because when you get results like this -- wow! Gorgeous cards! I keep window shopping, but can't decide. As if I need more stuff, sheesh!
These are gorgeous! So pretty! TFS!
These are beautiful. That first card has me thinking I NEED that embossing folder. The cards are all just lovely. Great job with your foil class.
Wow, you have been having fun with embossing foil. Your cards are all beautiful. I love the first one and that pretty butterfly. Glad you have fun zooming with crafty friends.
You certainly had a great embossing session using these wonderful colours of foil cardstock Bonnie, and I love both the butterfly cards, especially the slimline shape and EF, and then the pretty snowflakes EF and accompanying embellishments and background embossing with the same beautiful EF. x
Wow Bonnie, these cards are gorgeous. This is not something I have ever tried, but I definitely need to do so. Your results are so inspirational.
Hugs Monica
Thanks, Bonnie for introducing this new technique. These are all gorgeous and now I'm on a hunt for foiled card stock in color! Love the first one and how the background mimes the texture in the butterfly wing. That couldn't be more perfect. These look so fun to do too!
OMG..WOW!!! Gorgeous dry embossed with 3D image and Foil CS backgrounds for your 4 cards, Bonnie. But...your #1 Friend/Butterfly card took the Prize!!!! Looks like I need another new 3D EB folder..Fallen Leaves and because of you and Lolly I just ordered and received the TH Texture Fades Botanicals 3D Folder:-) TFS and always enabling me to add to my craft supplies as I am always SO inspired after seeing your creative beauties and cool techniques. BTW...the MB butterfly is Stunning also:-) Love and Hugs dear friend. Nancy
It's a very effective technique, Bonnie. I love all these cards, but I especially like the first katra. This embossing is brilliant and looks so great with this amazing butterfly.

Having come onto the zoom call late, it's great to get to see your embossed foil cards! I love all of them. The two Christmas ones, especially - that icy blue looks so good with the sanded snowflakes and the white card bases and extra touches.
You zooming crafters have ALL the fun, Bonnie! They are all three phenomenal - but I'm going on the record with this first glorious beauty being my all time favorite! What a fabulous folder that is!
=]
WOW...all 4 cards are absolutely GORGEOUS Bonnie, but I agree with Michele that the 1st one is my favorite and I think that EF needs to come live at my house!! I think I made 10 cards the first time I tried this technique, so I know just how addicting it is! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
All of these are wowsers Bonnie and you have reminded me I have some sheets of metal on the shelf....I think I need to start a notebook of ideas for times like now when inspiration is very lacking. Thanks for yours! xx
Beautiful cards Bonnie, amazing looking technique. I have all of the ingredients and need to have a go lol! Cathy x
I'm so glad you showed us this technique, these are such beautiful examples ♥
LOVE these foiled beauties, Bonnie. The first one uses an embossing folder I've had for a while, but not used. Now I need to pull it out and emboss come foil card stock with it! It's gorgeous done in gold with the sanding. And I love it paired with the gorgeous butterfly. All your cards are fantastic. I'm with you, this is very habit forming! :) I'm a bit obsessed with this technique ... thanks to you! :) xx
I am loving all these cards from your groups Bonnie, and these are stunning!! That first one is absolutely wonderful
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Oh my, oh my! These are amazing and that one at the top of the post has so much depth!
These are all gorgeous, that technique makes such good Christmas cards. I think I am going to have to try it xx
I can see how this technique would be habit forming Bonnie! lol I love the look you get and all these cards are just gorgeous. Of course you have used such beautiful embossing folders too. That butterfly is so cool looking, really love it. Glad you ladies are still getting together via Zoom and having some crafty fun! Hugs, Brenda

They are amazing but that first one blows me away... WOW!!!
You took my breath away with background using foil -- but that comes as no surprise to me. One more think I want to try. My list grows longer every day. Wonderful and Beautiful Bonnie!!

I think all these designs are impressive. I especially love the first, the combo of the earthly/golden colors is really lovely. But I think they all turned out gorgeous, I really do.
Hi Bonnie! I wanted to stop by to say hi and to thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog. WOWEE, what incredible cards these are! The depth on the first one is amazing. They're all fantastic!
