Happy Christmas for Time Out

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I was very excited to win the Time Out #289 challenge.
It came with a gift certificate to Lawn Fawn and a chance to be
their Guest Designer for this challenge.
Thanks so much ladies!

Here's my card....

The challenge for this round is.....

I chose Transport, Star and Book (The Polar Express).  I was going to tear a snowbank, but instead used
this die and emboss set for some snowy trees.

The background was done with Lindy Powders and lots of water. I used
the Screaming Banshee black powder that separates into lots of colors to make
a beautiful night sky. I was able to pick up some of the shine from the mica powder
that's in this powder too.

This challenge is sponsored by Newton's Nook and ends on August 13th.
Winner is chosen by the Design Team and wins a $25.00 gift certificate to
Newton's Nook.

Thanks to Time Out for letting me Guest Design with them and for
the lovely prize.

I can't wait to see what the Time Out team has chosen as their pick twos.
Let's go take a look....

Congratulations, Bonnie. A well deserved win with this awesome card. That powder you used made a stunning sky and Santa has to be so happy to have a beautiful sky to ride through. Those snowy trees are a lovely contrast.

Your Magical treatment of the sky is just that - magical. The gold stars and the crescent moon look incredible against the colors of the sky. I gasped a little when I saw it. That combined with the Santa & his reindeer silhouette and the stark white of the trees... well, it is just breathtaking. Thank you so much for being our Guest Designer, Bonnie. We are so very gad to have you with us!
