More Nordic Birds

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

No Challenges today.  Just cards done for fun (and the Christmas stash).

This time I used the smaller bird from the set.

I've framed him up with some Nordic frames.

Next up is using the larger bird  reversing the red and white.

For a bit of change, on a blue background...

This time I've used my Rosemaling embossing folder and swiped over the
raised parts with white ink.  I perched the bird on a couple of snowy branches.

I have had so much fun with these birds!  They aren't just for Christmas either.
I think you'll be seeing them in other seasons too.

A gorgeous trio of Christmas tweets, Bonnie! As much as I love your red, these white doves are just wonderful in all of their beautiful settings!

Sweet and beautiful, your birds are definitely the center of attention! I love the white on blue, but really all of them are just gorgeous designs -- can't wait to see them again

I really like the framing on your first card - also the traditional Christmas colors. It's really fun to study your cards Bonnie.
And I really do like the pattern on the bellies of your birds. Beautiful embossed background too. Merry, merry - is it too soon to say Merry Christmas?

Those birds are fantastic as the centerpiece of all your cards, Bonnie. A little tweak here and there and you can make multiples just different enough to keep it interesting.

As usual, I'm behind on visiting but I scrolled back and love every one of your bird cards, Bonnie. I love how you combine the frames, embossing folders and birds for such unique cards. The Holly Sprig is so pretty and in solidarity I have to say I never know which end is up almost every day.

Have I mentioned before how much I love your bird cards?? This trio of birdies is just delightful Bonnie!! I love the framing on your red bird, and the elegance of the white dove on the white embossed background, but I think my favorite this time around is your last card with the blue Rosemal embossed background...that sweet dove just really POPS against it!! Lovely, lovely cards as always my friend and I look forward to seeing more too!! Hugs. :0)

A beautiful trio of bird cards. The first one is very pretty with the red bird perched on the branch and the pretty frames. The other two are pretty with pretty backgrounds. Glad you had fun making them.

Three more brilliant cards featuring that brilliant bird image Bonnie, and I love the ornate edged mats on the first which frame it beautifully, and then the pretty embossing on the second with the red with the red background card which really makes it pop, and lastly the lovely blue and the embossing shows up so well with the added white on the raised areas, and the pine branches add a different look too. x

These birds are beautiful and I can definitely see them on cards all year long! I love how the Nordic design shows up on the white bodies. The blue card with pine branches has such a lovely, soft look.

I might have to get the Nordic birds! Your cards are so inspiring! I love the first one and the way you layered two of the Nordic frames and perched the bird on the branch. The detailing on the larger bird really shows up well and the second and third cards - fabulous designs for both!

I am in awe of what you do with birds. You bring them to life on your cards. Each one sits perfectly in its card "nest:".
