Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I finally got a chance to use my Concord & 9th poinsettia.
I'd used the other flower in the set on this card.
I die cut the flower from some Shimmery White cardstock and added just a
bit of blue that was leftover on my blending brush. The leaves were cut from
the same piece of cardstock and I blended some green ink on them.
The blue cardstock in the background has shimmer too. It was a gift, so I have
no idea where it came from. I LOVE it though and used it for a Hanukkah card.
I blended some dark blue ink around the edges to make the area around the
candles glow. I probably should of stamped the sentiment higher.
Too late now though.

Gorgeous blue Poinsettia- oh my! It really pulls in the blue from the cardstock, which is gorgeous shown in its full glory on the second card
The light touch of blue is beautiful on the poinsettia, Bonnie, and that embossing folder is the perfect choice to show it off. Thanks for sharing that card with us at Time Out. The Hanukkah card is lovely too.
You make me like blue a little more, Bonnie! This blue Poinsettia is SO pretty and looks so lovely on your embossed panel - and you've captured the candle glow perfectly on your Hanukkah card!

I totally agree - It really is a pretty Poinsettia. It is good to see a Hanukkah card. A wonderful reminder that other people celebrate in different ways.
Sandy xx
Your first card is so soft and stylish and the glow on your Hanukkah card looks amazing xx
That little bit of blue you added to your poinsettia is just lovely! I like the embossed background and touches of gold too. Your Hanukkah card is wonderful. That background was the perfect choice. Everything just radiates!
The poinsettia is beautiful with just that touch of blue, and the holly and berries embossed background goes perfectly Bonnie, and finished prettily with gold sentiment and flower centre. x
Two lovely cards Bonnie. I really love the touch of blue on the pretty poinsettia and the lovely embossed background that shows it off so well. Th Hanukkah card just glows with the candles and the the way you blended ink around the edges of that pretty blue.
Two fabulous cards! Love the soft blue colouring on the poinsettia. The Hanukkah card is wonderful with the rich blue background. That's a really nice menorah die.
What a beautiful Poinsettia card Bonnie! I love the light touch of blue in the flower and how perfectly it fits in with your lovely embossed background! Your Hanukkah card is also a beauty and I love that sentiment too! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
