Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Last week was super busy and today I finally had a chance to get
in the studio and make a card.
I used Verena's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and a NBUS holly die.
I followed the sketch exactly, but I like it turned on it's side too.
I die cut the holly from Neenah Solar white and added color on the leaves with
sponge daubers. The berries were cut from a scrap of red glimmer.
I had two holly sprigs and cut a cluster of leaves off the second to add to
the single sprig. That left a cluster left for the inside.
I need to decide which end is up before I put the sentiment on the inside.
What do you think?

I say it looks perfect BOTH ways! Bonnie, that sprig of Holly is so pretty - especially with glittery berries!
I'm so happy you found a little playtime and even happier that included FMS!
=]
It looks great either way but I prefer to read sentiments right side up. lol That is such a pretty holly sprig, especially with glittery berries.
Beautiful both ways. I think maybe the first one is a touch better. Love the red glittery berries and pretty holly sprig.
Love it! I love the horizontal version but either way you look at it, it's a beauty, Bonnie
Hm-mm - That's like saying which of my children do I want to give away!?! If I have to pick, I would say the first card - no, no I like the second card best of all. Sure do like the holly on a wooden background.
Sandy xx
Two beautiful cards using the sketch Bonnie. I love vertical cards best, but both are so pretty! xx
Vertical or horizontal, it's BEAUTIFUL Bonnie! That Holly sprig is so pretty and I love the glittery berries too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Such a beautiful combination of holly, woodgrain, and a lovely sentiment script, all on a CAS card! I like it both ways, but the vertical version has long been a favorite go-to sketch. So pretty!
What a lovely branch of holly! I like the sparkly berries and the embossed wood panels behind it. Either version looks fabulous to me!
Love how versatile Verena's sketch is and how gorgeous both versions look! You are so clever!
Oh this is such a gorgeous card! I just love that holly! So pretty and perfect for Christmas! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
I like both but I have a slight preference for the horizontal one. Lovely holly sprig, great wood plank background.
I l ove the sketch tilted. I just love a portrait vs a landscape card. ASweet holiday card.
Such pretty holly leaves and berries and a perfect choice of the added woodgrain embossed on it for the background Bonnie, and a great design idea to add the sentiment in the plain area at the top, and with a strip of brown to complement the holly branch. x
I agree it does look awesome both ways, and it has such a calm beauty about it. I'm Case(ing) it for my local Dec. card swap. I have a holly sprig from an Altenew set and a plank embossing folder...
