Tangled Tulips

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Are tulips blooming where you are?  They've gone by here, but
they bloom on in the Craft Room.

I've paired them with my Rosemal Reflections embossing folder for a special
birthday card.  It's very similar to the one that I did for my granddaughter's birthday.
Her aunts oohed and aahed over that, so this one will go to one of her aunts.

I cut all the flower pieces from Neenah Solar White and colored with Copics.
Sorry, but I didn't note the colors.  Sometimes I keep trying a color and then pull
out another and before long, they are all over the table.

Challenges:
NBUS #86 - Never Before Used Schtuff - Tangled Tulips Details die
Seize the Birthday #325 - Primarily Pink

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Rosemal Reflections (Grtry)
Ink:  Morning Mist (VC)
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Cotton Candy (SSS)
Other:  Rosemal Reflections EF, Tangled Tulips Details dies, Capsul Basics die (all Grtry)
Enjoy!

I'm laughing that your colors were all over your table - when I make something, odds and ends are all over my craft room!
Beautiful card Bonnie - a real keepsake.

I can see why they oohed and aahed over your card and this one is beautiful also. Love the pink embossed background and the lovely tulips. I agree with Sandy, a definite keepsake.

So pretty with the white over the embossing, the lacy edges oval and those beautiful tulips, Bonnie. It has a vintage feminine vibe. Which reminds me, The Paper Players have a feminine challenge should you want to add it there.

Yay for crafting, when you can create any flower you want in any season you want! These tulips are beautiful and so is that embossing folder. Just gorgeous!

Bonnie, would you believe I FINALLY found two tulips that make it through our wet winter weather [I carefully guarded them from those rascally rabbits!] They are blooming now!
In fact, they are nearly identical to your pretty pink ones! Such a gorgeous ooh and ahhh producing card!

Bonnie, this entire card just blends seamlessly together. I love the texture and patterns of the embossing as much as the florals. This is going to be a treasure for sure. Thanks for taking the time to join us at Seize the Birthday, I really appreciate it.

I love the curves and flow of this card. All the elements go together so well. And it has a beautiful old-fashioned feel to it.

That's how my Ziggies end up, too, Bon! You did a wonderful job with your Copics to make these beautiful tulips match the embossed background! All the aunts are going to want one of these designs! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Dolly

The Aunts that ooooh'd and ahhhhhh'd over your granddaughter's card are going to love this one too Bonnie! And I am too! I've got two of the frilly tulips that haven't bloomed yet but all the others fell apart over the weekend because of the wind...grrrrrrr! I did get to enjoy them for a good week though and am looking forward to the 2 frilly ones too! Most years the bunnies bite off all the buds before they even bloom but I did get lucky this year!! Anyway, your card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I know it will be treasured!! Hugs. :0)

I'm ooohing and ahhhing over this with those pretty tulips in such a lovely pink! This design is absolutely scrumptious -- every detail from the first layer to the last! BTW, my room looks like there was an explosion every time I make one card.

So very pretty!! I love the oval with the beautifully coloured flowers, Bonnie. Adding the little bit of white on top makes this card even more special. I can see why there was so much oohing and aahing. It's so lovely! xx
