Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's time for another Color Hues challenge.
This month it was my turn to choose our colors. I chose....
I was thinking flamingos when I chose these colors.
I die cut this flamingo from watercolor paper and colored with Distress Re-inkers.
For the background, I embossed a piece of Turquoise cardstock and patted
with a white pigment ink to bring out the raised feathers.
It was really fine with that, but I added die cut palm leaves for even more
dimension. There's more layers than I usually have, but I'm happy with it.
Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer Kim Miller have done to inspire you.
I hope you'll create a card using Pink & Turquoise and add it to the gallery at
Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on June 14th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.
Most importantly, just have fun!

Your pink flamingo and turquoise background make for a wonderful combination of your challenge colours which, by the way, I so enjoyed playing with. Striking, eye-catching and beautiful!

Love your pink flamingo on that beautiful turquoise background. The embossing with the touches of white looks great. I like the added die cut palm branches. A lovely card Bonnie and a great color combo.
I love how you framed out your beautiful pink flamingo Bonnie with the arches, and the added embossing and palm leaves make this card stand out even more! Delightfully perfect my friend, and a fun, FUN challenge!! Hugs. :0)
Bonnie, what a fun color combo for summer! Yes, flamingos but also turquoise pools of cooling water or rolling waves with foamy surf at the beach! LOve your card!

What a wonderful exotic card, my dear Bonnie. You used a beautiful, deep shade of turquoise that perfectly complements the light pink flamingo. A great card for a color challenge.

What a fun card with your pink flamingo, great take on the colour challenge ❤️
I love the choice of pink and turquoise for the Color Hues challenge this time, and you have used just the most perfect flamingo image and it looks great placed over the turquoise card base and white stitched arched shape mat, and then the embossed turquoise layer over that with some pretty white die cut leaves...a fabulous card. x
I'm loving this flamingo! What a marvelous color combo AND card!
Your flamingo certainly takes center stage! He's one of the finest I've ever seen. All your layers added up to one fabulous card!
Bonnie, your card is terrific! I love your pink flamingo with the "feathers" in white over your turquoise background! Love this color combo!
Now why didn't I think of flamingos for this challenge? Anyway as my mum used to say it takes all sorts to make a world and life would be pretty boring if we all thought the same! Your watercoloured flamingo looks fab against that deep turquoise and the contrast white foliage. :)
Such great choices...the ef, and the die cuts, the pigment ink all come together so beautifully.
I've always wondered if your pick the colors first or the image and now I know, Bonnie. LOL Your flamingo is so stately and right at home with the palms leaves.
Great colors, Bonnie and that flamingo is such a gorgeous focal point! Hoping I can join this challenge!
Your flamingo is so good! Love the background with the mix of EF and dies as well. It all blends seamlessly together. Great card and I know it is going to be a tremendous gallery too!
Love your choices, a beautiful card. x
Oh goodness, your flamingo is perfect and FUN! What a perfect match for the colors you chose
