Freshly Picked Just for You

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I hope you're having a nice weekend.  Even though I'm retired, the weekends
are still something to look forward to.

This week Cécile gave us this sketch to work with...

I used a new die set from Papertrey ink to die cut this flower and the leaves.  I cut
the flower from a light coral pink cardstock and ink blended around the edges with
some darker shades of ink.  The leaves were cut from Eucalyptus cardstock
and also ink blended.

I arranged it all on a piece of die cut mesh.

Challenges:
NBUS #89 - Never Before Used Schtuff (flower die)

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Simple Holiday Mini Sentiments (Grtry)
Ink:   Grapefruit, Pimento, Poppy, Sunbeam, Eucalyptus, Parsley (C9), Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Nectar, Eucalyptus (C9)
Other:  Into the Blooms: Freshly Picked (PTI), Burlap Texture die (Alt), Subtle EF (ret SU)

Enjoy!

I was going to say what Marcia said so I'll change it up. LOL The white on white background is a lovely place to set that gorgeous flower, Bonnie.

Ditto all the above, and I'll add that I've always loved that bit of burlap whenever, and wherever I've seen it, Bonnie! Such a beautiful way to represent Cecile's square and the prettiest peachy posie to top it!
