Merry Monday Pink and Silver

Hello and Merry Monday!

Kathy chose a fun color challenge for us this week.

Although I'm a traditional kind of gal most of the time, favoring
red and green on my Christmas cards,
I love to see pink and silver.
I think it makes such elegant Christmas cards.

I can't wait to see what  you come up with!

I've used the retired Snow Swirled set
stamping in Encore Silver and
embossing with Silver Embossing Powder.
I did the same thing with the sentiment.

The fancy rectangle is a NBUS
from Christmas.

And since our lovely friend,
Darnell
is challenging us to use NBUS
(Never Before Used Schtuff)
on our cards, I'll go share this
in her challenge.

Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)

Congratulations, Darnell, I see that you are up to 541 Followers.

I hope you'll pull out your silver, pink and white
and join us at
Merry Monday!

I'm really glad you stopped by.

Enjoy!

Merry Monday Snow Swirled

And here we are back at Merry Monday time again.  Is it just me or are the weeks going by faster?

Lesley gave us another fabulous sketch this week.

I went with a monochromatic color scheme again.  I've always loved Old Olive and Whisper White together.

I'd love for you to visit the rest of the design team and see their fantastic creations.

Snow

Here's another card for the Merry Monday challenge this week.  I had this stamped snowman in the UFO (UnFinishedObjects) box.  I love the way he fit in this sketch.

We had some SNOW last night!  I was so excited!  I turned on the floodlights and watched it through the bay window. How pretty.  There was a little on the ground this morning but it's melting fast. Not enough for a snowman for sure.  But that's OK.  I'm just so happy to see it falling.

Here's Lesley's wonderful sketch.

The Free 4 All challenge at SCS this morning is to use flags or banners on a card.  Got that covered.

I can add this card to the SCS Fan Club's January Christmas Challenge, Christmas Wedding. The snowman stamp is old,  the snowflakes from the Snow Swirled set are new (a Christmas present), and there's lots of blue.  Nothing borrowed on this one.   I know you have to be a Fan Club member to post on this challenge, but I think you can peek in the gallery even if you aren't.

I used some of the Illuminate Watermark ink with the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp.  It ended up making the snowman look splotchy.  LOL, kinda looks like the birds have been around too long! But it has a shimmery snowflakes.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Snow Much Fun, Snow Swirled, More Merry Messages, Itty, Bitty Backgrounds (retired)
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn, Pool Party, Island Indigo, SU Markers (Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Island Indigo)
Paper:  Pool Party, Whisper White, Island Indigo
Other: Illuminate Watermark Stampin' Pad, Square Jeweled Brad (retired), Kars Snowflake EF (Cuttlebug)

There's still time to make a Christmas card and link it up at Merry Monday.  You have until Sunday noon to join in.

Glad you could stop by!  And thanks so much when you leave a comment.  I really enjoy them!

Enjoy!

Snow Swirled

It's such a busy time!  It's hard to find time on the computer but I just had to share this card that I did for the Less is More challenge last Saturday.

ONE LAYER CARD

This time our theme is

Let it Snow!

Last Saturday I stamped with my Roanoke Rapids friends and Barbara had this set that I love but never bought for myself.

It's stamped in Old Olive and added some Dazzling Details to the snow flakes.  The sparkle doesn't show up well in the photo but it adds a real frosty look IRL.  I added the frame with my Simply Scored to give it a more finished look.

The snowflake at the top of the tree was cut from a second stamping.

I have some more Christmas cards that I would like to share.  If time is as crunched as it's been, I will try to post the pictures even if I don't have time to write anything with it.  If you have any questions, you can email me and I will be glad to answer them.

If you like a bargain, hop over to my Online Store and check out the Clearance rack.  There are some really good deals!

I'm so glad you stopped by.  I hope to visit you soon.

Enjoy!
