Happy World Cardmaking Day!
Or in my case, more than a day, LOL.
Have you been keeping up with the slimline card trend?
First I did an inky background using colorburst powders.
I used some plastic wrap on the wet inky background. I guess
the ink wasn't wet enough to get much pattern from the plastic.
But it's bright and I liked the way the colors blended.
I cut a few of the Pinkfresh Floral Squares, cutting each twice.
I snipped the flowers out of one set and used the frame to offset with
the floral squares and added a bit of sponged color on each of the flowers.
I used the largest die to emboss a border along the edges. The photo
doesn't show it well. It matches the diagonal lines on the
colored panel.
The sentiment die was cut three times and stacked.

And another slimline card. I used the larger die to emboss around the edge again
and this time dry embossed the smaller die cut.
I used Pinkfresh Studios Dainty Blossom dies and an embossing folder
to make this simple monochromatic card. I added a thin strip of black
and a piece of twine where the embossing met and left a small space.
