Snow Couple for Merry Monday

Are you having a good weekend?

We're having beautiful springlike weather.

But Merry Monday has a snowy challenge!
a Christmas card done this week,
but thanks to my UFO box and a very CAS card, I was able to get one together.

My friend, Linda is the hostess this week.

I had this snow couple image partially colored with Copics and found it when
I pulled out something to color.

I finished coloring it and die cut with the new Stitched Shapes Thinlits from Stampin' Up!

I got some of the Infinity Circle Dies for Christmas and one was perfect for a narrow mat.

Some Flower Soft and Dazzling Details added some texture.

We had a visitor to our back yard yesterday afternoon.

DH says it's a Cooper's Hawk.

He stayed quite a while and the yard was very quiet. Not a peep from the other birds.
The squirrels kept a low profile too.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Season's Greetings (There She Goes OOB), Think Big #20 Christmas (PTI)
Ink:   Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper:   Solar White (Neena 110 lb.), Real Red, Whisper White
Other:  Copic Markers, Stitched Shapes Thinlits (SU), Infinity Circles (HA), Flower Soft, Dazzling Details

The Cooper hawk is so pretty. We have a lot of different kinds of hawks around here and when they come around, everything else disappears like you said.
Love your cute and fun card for Christmas. The font on that sentiment is awesome!

What an adorable Christmas card Bonnie, with two sweet snow 'people'. How fantastic that you get such visitors to your garden! All we have in our city garden are magpies, pigeons and seagulls! I'd love to get a visitor like yours! I hope you are having a great weekend and that you have a good week coming up! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx

Great snowmen and love the flower soft on their hats. Beautiful card.

How lucky to have a Majestic bird stay long enough to get fabulous photos of him.

Darling snowman duo, Bonnie, and I love how you colored and matted them!! Wow - fab hawk too - how fun to see them in the yard (as long as you don't have a small pet out there!).

What jolly-looking, fun snowmen, a great card. I somehow missed that challenge this week! Must pay closer attention. Wonderful photo of the hawk, I'm not surprised everyone was hiding. How lucky to see him.

Aww!! Bonnie, this is an adorable little couple of Snow Cuties, I love their fluffy caps and warm scarfs in those very bright Holiday colors.
Now, your amazing visitor is gorgeous and scary looking if you are a mousy or a little rabbit, the birds probably were whispering and signaling shhhh!! to one another.
Beautiful!
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

Yes I can imagine why the squirrels kept a low profile with that amazing hawk around x Cute and adorable card which is really enhanced with the narrow red circle x

I love your pretty snow couple Bonnie! they look wonderful with the blue sky surrounding them and framed in the lovely circle! That's a beautiful sentiment too! Your hawks are so regal - we usually see a red tailed hawk in our yard - and the birds certainly scatter - and then sometimes we see a PUFF of feathers on the ground.....!

Love this Christmas card Bonnie - especially that blue background.
We have had a hawk every now and then. He sits on our fence and stares down at the ground - then once in a while he will jump down but what he is finding I do not know.

Adorable snow-couple! Great colours, glitter, and layout! Thanks for posting the amazing photos of the hawk. I'm glad it didn't swoop in and grab one of the smaller birds!

Eep! Your young Cooper's Hawk stole the show for me today, Bonnie! I think it is so fun that we have them in our neighborhood and you have them there, too! Aren't they fascinating to watch? TFS!

And I love your snowy couple, all dressed up nice and cozy in such bold and traditional Christmas colors! Don't they look like a typical married couple: he says the coffee shop is over this way and she insists, no, it's over that way!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

I used to feed the birds in my yard and then a hawk started hanging around for easy pickens. They sure are majestic looking. I like your snow people card. It might be snowy but they look bundled up nicely.

Your snow couple is adorable Bonnie. Isn't it great to find things in the UFO at just the right time?? Love the added texture and sparkle.

That hawk is gorgeous. We have only had a hawk come to visit once while we were sitting on the outside deck. We had lots of birds coming by for a visit on their way to somewhere ... we love to sit and watch and listen to the pretty sounds. All of the sudden, there wasn't a bird in site and not a peep ... that's when DH spotted the hawk on our fence. Quite something to see!

Aw, this is a sweet couple. Loving that snow trim too - so fluffy. The stitched dies look really cool with the Snowies. Admiring this fierce looking hawk. We've seen a trio flying, thought perhaps parents teaching Baby to hunt. They didn't get close enough to take pics though. Great shot on this guy. TFS & Hugs
