Water Floral Splash for CAS Watercolour

Hello friend.  I'm so glad you could stop by today.

I'm here today to remind you that there's still time to make a splash

Nancy is hosting this month and she's asked us to use the splash watercolor technique.

Sadly, this is Nancy's last Design Team challenge.  We have so enjoyed having her on
the team and she's added so much inspiration to all of us on the team and our followers.

Fortunately for us she will still be in our CAS family as a Designer on the CAS Mix Up team.

On to the splash technique.  You can check the challenge site
for a video tutorial on how to do this fun technique.

My color was done with Brushos sprinkled on my craft sheet and spritzed
with water and pounced my paper into the puddle.

I borrowed a friends stamp that's called Water Floral to stamp
on this piece that looked like water to me.

The challenge is open until the 24th.

Challenges:

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Gorgeous background for the lovely floral, Bonnie! You're so right - that silhouette has so much movement; it looks like it could be on the ocean floor!!

That splash background in those colors and the water floral die absolutely "flow" and "go" together. Stamping and matting in black helps ground the whole look. Perfect summer card!

Love the splash coloured background here Bonnie. That stamp really stands out pride of place here in black with the stitched die. Nice touch with the black mat and sentiment.

Gorgeous Splash background in your blue tones, Bonnie. I love your stamped image. So perfect with your Splash background. It has been so wonderful working so closely with you and Loll on the CAS Watercolour Challenge. I will be right next door still in your CAS Mix Up Challenge and will be playing in the watercolor challenge every month. I have learned so much and am always inspired by the DT cards and our awesome galleries. Love and Hugs...Nancy

I am definitely loving that splash background Bonnie and it does indeed look like water! I also love that image you used, looks kinda' like some kind of exotic seaweed growing in the water. Very cool indeed! Hugs, Brenda

The marriage of that stylized flower and that sediment is perfection, Bon-Bon! They and the black matting were excellent choices for your pretty splash background!! Hugs, Darnell

Such a lovely shade of turquoise brushos for the background. It looks so fresh and summery with the quirky bouquet stamped on it and the perfect scattering of sequins.

Yes, for me this background also looks like water. Like the water in the spring, where the stone fell and moved the water ... A wonderful, refreshing impression. I love this card!
I regret that Nancy leaves the band DT :-( Her creations are always so inspirational.

Gorgeous splash background, Bonnie! I love how you got areas of white. My colours splashed everywhere. 😂 The image is adorable and perfect as it allows the background to show through. xx

Wow, I love this card, Bonnie! And we’re on the same wave-length because I was wondering how a splash background would look like if I used Brushos for the past few days. After all, you are way ahead of me. :-)
Your gorgeous blue splash background totally inspired me to try it myself. The stamp image is perfect for the splash effect. The flowers look like they’re blooming underwater! The black makes a great contrast to the beautiful blue. Hideko xx
