Brushos, Snippets and a Butterfly

This is a result of some Brusho play.

I had 3 splotches that looked like flowers.

I tried stamping outlines and totally messed up the piece.
(Should have used the MISTI.)

I was able to salvage a snippet by placing it behind the circle frame.

Then I added a butterfly die cut from another snippet.

All these snippets so I'm taking this over to

And it so happens that Di is the Guest Designer over at

Where it's RECIPE WEEK.
and the recipe is
and they're celebrating a special day.
A very happy birthday, Chrissie!

I'm so glad you could stop by today.

that flower is so pretty Bonnie - your playing around turned into a fantastic card - love it when that happens - would love to play with some Brusho but just can't buy another thing - at least not this week:-)

A brilliant combo of the brusho colors and it's lovely with the outline floral stamp and that fab black butterfly. I should try to play in this snippet challenge to celebrate our Miss Pixie. TFS & happy Wednesday. Hugs

Wow -- this card has pow! Love how you saw the splotches as flowers and made them come alive. Plus playing up the vibrancy of the brushos colors with the black b'fly and border. You're my heroine for inspiration!

A perfect splotch of red brusho for your flower! Love the way you framed it too (even though you did it to cover up a mistake!).

This is so pretty and elegant Bonnie and the black butterfly and the sentiment against the white and then that pop of red and orange is wonderful and the outline of the flower is just perfect with the round aperture. x

Overstamping the brushoes with the outline flowers looks wonderful, Bonnie. I would say my MISTI has saved a few stamping disasters. Thank goodness we have them.
