Christmas Script for CAS Watercolour Reminder

We're halfway through the CAS Watercolour November Challenge!

My but time flies!

(other than a sentiment)

I pulled out a background piece that had been done by sprinkling with Brushos
and spritzing with water.  I added a little Inka Gold smoosh to it too.

I stamped it with the Christmas Background stamp using my MISTI.

I heat embossed the stamping then placed it back in my MISTI and stamped
and embossed again.  That gave it a nice thick embossing that showed better with
the dark background.

I cut off some of the piece because it was a bit bigger than I wanted.
I die cut the tallest tree from the leftover piece to put on the inside.

The trees are die cut several times and stacked for dimension.
(I used some snippets of Neena to put behind the Glimmer.)

I hope you'll add some text to a card and share it with us at
CAS Watercolour Card Challenge

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Bonnie, this one is exquisite! Love, love, love that background of Brushos and embossed script! I like that you were able to emboss, then stamp and emboss again! Any time I pulled something out of the Misti and put it back in it was off. Those trees- GORGEOUS! Off to Frantic stamper now to put them in my wish list!

Wonderful glowing background with the sparkling dimensional trees. Good tip about the restamping/re-embossing with the Misti. Never tried that after the 1st emboss, but tfs that great idea. It's a lovely card, and how you remember what you've done on previously made backgrounds...amazing!!! Hugs

Your Brushos background was perfect, Bonnie for your heat embossed Christmas sentiments background. Your blue inking with a touch of Inka Gold was beautiful way to highlight your white die cut tall trees. TFS my friend. Hugs, Nancy

This is absolutely stunning Bonnie. The background is gorgeous and I like the way you've built up the trees. I've just only started using my misti but wouldn't have thought to heat emboss twice! Thanks for the tip. Barbxx

My favourite mix of blue, white, and sparkle - love this!! Great text stamp (I might have to look for it). And the scored background lines frame it so well.
