It's time for a new CAS Mix Up challenge
I masked off an area of a piece of cardstock and sponged Peacock Feathers Distress Ink
in the open space. I went over that with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I was
trying for a teal color. Ended up with green, but that's OK.
I laid a stencil (a gift from Loll) on the sponged area and
used a baby wipe to remove some of the color.
It left some lovely ghosted leaves.
Then I masked off the sponged area and moved the sticky notes a little bit away from
the sponged area, smacked it with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with gold.
A die cut leaf from some gold foil and an embossed sentiment finish this off.
Here's another version with the leaf cut from a piece I'd colored with Alcohol Ink.
We've added two more members to our Design Team.
We know they will inspire you.
And our fantastic Guest Designer this month is Linda S.
Hope to see you at
CAS Mix Up
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Fantastic design Bonnie! Love the masked area with sponging and ghosting ... such a pretty and subtle design for the background. Great addition of the added framing of gold heat embossing. So creative. And a lovely backdrop to show off your beautiful leaves ... both versions are so pretty!! xx
A true CAS card, Love ❤️ the colours, the gold embossing is perfect against that beautiful emerald backdrop!
Great design 😎
They are two beautiful cards Bonnie. The green is a lovely colour and I like the ghosting very much. Lovely autumn leaves too. Barbxx
Bonnie, your two cards are so pretty. Love them.
Love both versions! Lovely rectangle of colour to set off the leaf! I especially like the way you added the thin strips of gold, and then matched the sentiment to it. Great cards for your coming Thanksgiving season.
Also, thanks for having me as GD this month. Such a thrill.
Beautiful cards, Bonnie! Love your sponged background and your gorgeous leaf!!
Both versions are extremely pretty Bonnie and blue shows through beautifuly where you have removed the surface ink with the baby wipe through a stencil. I love your gold embossed leaf over the top which goes perfectly with the gold embossed strips and sentiment too. x
Those leaves are gorgeous! Makes me want to get out my alcohol inks and play!
Fabulous cards!
Two lovely versions of your beautiful design Bonnie! what a different look you get just by changing the color of the leaf! Julia xx
Oh how beautiful - love the ghosting in the background and the fabulous leaves! The gold stripe either edge of the sponged panel is the perfect accent Bonnie, and framed them beautifully

Great looking cards! Like the look of the ghosting leaves on the strip of sponged color and the extra masking for the 2 strips of embossing. Clever!

OH my goodness, these fall cards are just beautiful Bonnie! I love the ghost imaging you got from your inky background. Looks amazing and of course I just love the leaves you die cut out. Beautiful! Hugs, Brenda
Hello,
I'm in need of your help. I'm trying to find a stamp or stamp set to purchase like the stamp you used on your card for Nativity Ornament for Merry Monday dated May 23, 2016. Do you know who makes this stamp and if it's still available to purchase. I really really like the card you designed using this stamp.

Thank you very much.
