Freshly Made Sketches had another fantastic sketch this week and I had time to do some playing with the special Reason to Smile set from Stampin' Up! More about that later. Here's what I did...
Here's the sketch that Jennifer Timko, at Freshly Made, came up with.
And here's a Reason to Smile? This set is $5.00 with a $50.00 order during the month of July. After July it won't be available any more. And it's available in wood or clear for this price. It's such a pretty set too. I love Gerber Daisies.
It's also available for purchase if you don't have $50.00 to spend and just have to have this set. The regular purchase price is $16.95 for clear and $20.95 for wood. There's a link on my sidebar if you'd like to order it.
I don't think I've ever seen a blue Gerber Daisy, but that's the fun with art. We can do whatever we want! And the CAS challenge at SCS last week was to use Navy, Olive and White.
Here's the sketch that Jennifer Timko, at Freshly Made, came up with.
I stamped the outline flower with Jet Black StazOn ink then, using my Stamp-a-Majig, I stamped the fill flower with Not Quite Navy. There were some black dots (part of the stamp) and I hit them with the White Gel Pen. I like the look with the white spots.

I love this in blue, Bonnie! I just got mine on Friday and I can't wait to ink it up!! So glad you joined us this week at FMS!
This card works really well in Not Quite Navy and I rather like that patterned paper strip.
So pretty! Gerbera daisies always say "summer" to me and if there isn't a blue one there ought to be! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
Bonnie, this is gorgeous! Your simple color palette really makes this card pop. Thanks for playing along with this week's sketch!
Your gerber daisy is so pretty in blue. I like to color flowers in colors I've never seen before. They're unique and fun.
This is just beautiful Bonnie ... love your clean and elegant styling!

Congratulations, Bonnie! Just shows to go what thinking outside the box and coloring your Gerber a luscious blue will do!! Awesome!
