Merry Monday Gifts Galore

Christmas is 1 month away! Have you got your Christmas cards done?  Thanks to Merry Monday, I'm in good shape.   Here's this week's card.....

Here's Lesley's fantastic sketch.

The week got away from me and I was at the deadline yesterday trying madly to get my card done and to Lesley on time.  I had an idea that had been playing in my mind.  It didn't work.

So I went with the other idea whirling around in my mind.  It didn't work.

Did I mention that both of these ideas involved glitter?  LOL, it's everywhere! That stuff multiplies!

By this time I'm starting to panic worry that I'm not going to make it!

So I pulled out some snippets that were cut in 1" strips and squared them off.  I had some beautiful, metallic Origami papers that a friend had given me so I used some of them to die cut these bows.

Snippets so I can go over to Pixie's Crafty Workshop Playground.  I always enjoying playing with Di and the girls.

A little embossing, OK, a lot of embossing and it came together.

This will be the last Merry Monday challenge until the first of January.  I hope you'll take advantage of this last challenge of the year and show me how easy this sketch is.

And check out the rest of the Design Team cards.  They're fabulous as usual!

Now to clean up that glitter...

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe
Paper:  Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Snippets of DSP, Origami paper
Other:  Snow Burst EF, Snowflake Spots EF (Cuttlebug), Bows die (MB)

I'm so happy that you stopped by.  Let me know what you think!

Enjoy!

Oh Bonnie, this is absolutely fabulous! Love the cleanness of it, lovely design and colours too. Ha, don't leave those little pretties under the Playground Christmas tree though - I can just imagine the scurry of little feet and much poking, giggling and trying to unwrap them!

Thank you for your hopping round and commenting today - am multi-tasking here, printing return address labels for the school newsletter. Snort, wasn't watching what I was doing and now have three sheets of labels with your blog posting on :)) Any use? Sigh, sometimes I'm just plain stoooopid!!

Hugs, Di xx

Hi Bonnie, I forgot to say that you can enter this into Sarn's Rudolph Day challenge too. Most of the little horrors from the Snippets Playground go there too - in fact I think that's where a lot of the plotting takes place :)

And, there's a darling wax seal set to be won - http://stampingforpleasure.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/final-rudolph-day-challenge-for-2012.html

This is so pretty! Those gifts are gorgeous the embossing folders behind the gifts work so well!

I am so glad to know I'm not the only one with glitter to clean up today. I was trying a new technique that seemed to work for everyone but me last night, but I'm determined not to clean it up until I give it another try tonight!
