The Queen for the Day challenge at SCS this week is to honor past queens whose names begin with A and B. I chose to honor my friend Brenda of (aka Benzi). This is the bright pretty card that I've CASEd.
I found these tags at a Scrap Meet in our neighborhood. I love sunflowers so I grabbed them. I changed out the ribbon that was on the tag for some twine and gingham ribbon. The scallops look a little rough. Mainly because I can't cut straight!

Man, is it hot here! And it's so humid that the air feels solid! I'm so thankful for air conditioning! I know it's hot everywhere. I hope you have a way to stay cool. It's good weather for stamps and a fan!

Oh, wow! I'm smiling really big knowing you did a case of my card. I had forgotten about that card. You did a fabulous job with this beautiful card. It's so sunny. Love the image and you've colored it beautifully. Pretty needlepoint folder, too.

Oh, are you saying the tag had the sunflower on it? Anyway, it is beautiful...whether you colored the flower or it is part of the tag.:-)

Beautiful bright card Bonnie. Unusually hot here too but mustn't complain we don't get enough of it. No air con here though only a fan, and see my comment on Di's card at the playground today!!

Well, Bonnie, Sunflowers are kinda rustic aren't they? So you need a rustic trim to go with 'em. I thought your scallops looked fine, and this card is just cheerful & sunny. I like sunflowers too...they are nice to color. Great find, BTW. Your B&W ribbon was another 'homey-country' touch to your beautiful sunflower. TFS
