It's snowing here in North Carolina tonight.
Big, beautiful flakes.
The children next door were on their deck catching snowflakes on their tongues and Maddie, their dog was trying to catch some too. What a lovely sight!
It made me think of this card I sent off a while ago.

The snowflake is the outcut of a snowflake used long ago.
The tag was punched with SU's new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I LOVE it! To do the backing piece for the tag, I cut a scrap of gray 1/8" wider than the punch and slipped into the top of the 2 1/2" circle punch to get the curved top. There's a matching ribbon hole die in the Chalk Talk Framelits set. Or you can use the retired slot punch.
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Card Recipe
Stamps: Short and Sweet
Ink: Smokey Slate
Paper: Smokey Slate, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Other: Silver 1/8" Silver Ribbon, Basic Rhinestone, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Powdered Sugar EF (Sizzix), Organdy Ribbon (JoAnn), Snowflake die (Impression Obsession)
I hope if you're getting snow, you can enjoy it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!

Beautiful card, Bonnie. I love your sparkly snowflake and the pretty embossing folder you've used.
Oh, how wonderful you're getting snow. We had a few flakes to fly this morning. It ended quickly. We just have the cold temps. Ugh!
When we lived in NC there was a run on milk and bread at the store when it snowed. Here there is still a lot of snow on the ground with temps at 10 or below. Not really enjoying it.
I AM enjoying this card, though. It's so soft and pretty.
Very pretty and love the embossed background with this.
Snow......doesn't it just make you wish you were 6 years old again and go play in it! Stay warm!

How pretty! And a very clever way to use the tag topper punch! I never thought to use the Chalk Talk die to match the hole in the punch! Beautiful!
Wow, Bonnie, this is so classy and elegant - or should that be Klassy? LOL. Love the negative die cut with the silver behind.
I know and totally love this card Bonnie :-) And how nice to have the real stuff falling as well.

Beautiful card, love that embossing folder. Love the snowflake too.
Snow sounds lovely at the moment, you have our rain if you like :)
Hi Bonnie. Beautiful tag on your card. I'm waiting for my new punch to arrive. I love your idea of matting it behind using the circle punch.
No snow for us so far. Just rain.

What a beautiful snowflake tag, Bonnie!
This is beautiful, Bonnie! Stay safe and enjoy the beauty of the falling snow.
Bonnie, your card is just beautiful I LOVE it. You have just made my mind up with the tag punch, I think I need one. I love the cutout snowflake and embossing folder.

At least I can enjoy your beautiful snowflake card though--it's better than having to shovel anything!! ;-)
Gorgeous snowflake image and love the sparkle. That tag topper is amazing too!!
I love your card, Bonnie! White and silver together, a beautiful snowflake, and a chance to see the new SU tag punch in action! I've ordered the punch and now can't wait till it comes!

A nice way of recycling the outcut of the snowflake. Miss Di won't be saying bring on the snow when it does fall and we are holed up. Who is going to open the playground gates and wipe the swings down!! hugs Mrs A.
