I chose this Santa from the Season's Greetings set from
There She Goes Stamps. Love these images.
I stamped the Santa image and colored with Copic Markers.
(It was a real challenge to keep the white edges.
A white gel pen finally got the white I wanted instead of pink.)
I cut a mask for the Santa and masked him so I could
stamp the trees behind him.
Colored the trees, sponged some sky, added some
Dazzling Details for sparkle,
and put it on a card.

Fantastic card! Great job coloring with red copics! I struggle with them but will try your gel pen tip next time. Now off to dig through the Christmas bin to see if I can play along with my own Santa this week.
Oh, I love that Santa stamp! He's colored so pretty and the masking of the trees is the perfect addition to make this such a cute scene and a wonderful card.

The stitched layers are just perfect and your colouring is spot on. I did have a little chuckle - I have a white gel pen to hand here as well!! Saved the day more than once for sure.

I love that Santa image - haven't seen it before! And you did a fabulous job masking it and colouring it (great tip by the way, to use the white gel pen to go over the edges if the colour bleeds a bit).
I love your Santa and masking to get the trees in was a fab idea. I was thinking it was all one stamp. I really like your icy, snowy ground and LOVE this card.
Love this folk art Santa, and your masking was wonderful. Red copics are probably the hardest for me to do without bleeds - I'm heavy handed - but I've learned to do the red first, if it's a large area. That way I can pitch it if I mess up and can't fix. Yours turned out splendidly and of course I am loving those stitched mats. Delightful card. TFS & Hugs
