Snowbird and Berries for Merry Monday

Hello and a Merry Monday to you.

This week it's my turn to choose the challenge.

I've had this gorgeous Stampendous stamp for a year (or maybe 2)
and I finally put some ink to it.

And watercolor.

I was able to practice a paint lifting technique I learned in the
Online Watercolor for Cardmakers Intermediate class.

It's a CAS Mixed Media card.

What is CAS Mixed Media?

Check back tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I hope you'll think about berries and join us at

I'm so glad you stopped by.

Enjoy!

Love the bird and berries look for a Christmas card. Your efforts with the Watercolor Class sure are obvious...such an artistic, soft watercolor look.

Bonnie - without question - this is one of the prettiest, if not the prettiest, cards you have made. OMG it is stunning. I waste so much time and this is what I should be practicing. Bonnie this creation is divine - love the way to did the chickadee. I just sit here and stare. Bravo Kid!!! So timely for the cold rain and ice that swirls around y'all in North Carolina.

Such a soft and gentle look to this card! You did a fabulous job watercolouring the image! I'll have to investigate that colour lifting technique (I didn't get very far with the watercolour course!).

This is just totally stunning Bonnie!! I have this stamp too, but never has it looked as good as yours! How did you get the fine feathered look at the top of the bird? That's the part that always looks too heavy handed to me when I try to use it. But anyway, absolutely gorgeous card...love it!! :0)
