It's Merry Monday time.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Nina (Notes By Nina) is our hostess this week.
Here is her choice.
Since my goal this year is not to have to pay extra postage,
I resorted to used paper buttons.
Actually this tree was all buttoned up and in my UFO box.
It's from a now out of business stamp company.
My buttons were made by pricking 2 holes in a snippet piece then
punching with a Wal-mart paper punch.
Since I used lots of tiny snippets for buttons and layers, I'm off to
Where there's always some fun brewing!
and
TOUCHY FEELY
Those buttons add texture.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

pretty card Bonnie and what a good idea to use paper buttons - i even have some button dies from ages ago when buttons were the rage (and also millions of real buttons!) your tree is perfect for buttons with that neat pattern in it.
Just love all those pretty buttons and that tree is adorable! This is the perfect card for showcasing all those colorful buttons! Hope you have a wonderful week, Bonnie! :)
So pretty! Love that you handmade those buttons...
Fun idea with the clever buttons and loving the textured background. Yes it's a good idea about trying to keep the postage costs down. Love this contemporary and fun card.
Great idea for keeping a card flat yet still using "buttons". Love that big festive tree and your pretty, pretty card.

I like the textured background here and your tree is so bright and cheerful. Very inventive with the buttons. I do have a button stamp which i love and it keeps things flat.
Great Christmas card. I love the Christmas tree and the 'buttons'. Lovely design. xx
Great minds think alike! Your teeny tiny buttons are cute!

Fresh, pretty and very clever to use paper buttons Bonnie! So glad you did, I think I have a button die - if I can find it! Love playing at Merry Monday but all too often not enough hours in a day!
Thanks so much for coming to play in the Snippets Playground :)
Hugs

This is lovely Bonnie. I really like your idea of using the little buttons as decorations on your tree. Barbxx
Adorable little Christmas Tree Bonnie, love this theme for Merry Monday. Those teeny, tiny buttons look so cute and, since they are paper buttons this beautiful card will be easy to mail.
Thank you for sharing.
What a clever and easy way to do mail-able buttons...and to use up snippets -- even the tiniest ones. I am always impressed by your range of design ideas and your creative touches that make such a difference.
A wonderful Christmas Card -- Bonnie, what is the size of the cards you make. All of my embossing folders are small and oddly shaped.

What a clever idea to make paper buttons! Love the tree with their button ornaments and then the extra scattered ornaments!
Your homemade paper buttons are really cool. Nice card!
Super cute card, love the pop of colorful buttons.
What a great tree, love the buttons on it, a smashing card.
Your Christmas tree adorned with buttons is so sweet Bonnie. Great idea to use paper buttons! I have a button phobia. :) I love seeing them on other people's cards, but they just look ridiculous when I try to add them. :) I really admire how you've done it so perfectly. xx
Paper buttons are the way to go, Bonnie, says she who also used paper buttons. I love that tree paper.
Clever way to get your buttons onto a one-layer and reasonable postage. And it's very pretty & so effective at trimming this cute tree. Love all the colors, the design and it looks marvelous against that texture embossing on the background. WTGo. TFS & Hugs
Your card is so awesome with so many lovely elements on it. I loved playing in your mixed media challenge. Have a great week.
This geometric tree is really pretty with the buttons for lights Bonnie and the embossing works perfectly in the background. x
