Good Merry Monday morning.
Sue is our hostess this week. I love what she chose.
I used what I call Watercolor Splotch technique
and dropped some gray watercolor in.
When it was completely dry, I stamped the tree and sentiment.
Then I stamped some snowflakes and stars over the splotch.
I tried to emboss the stars.
I also tipped the branches with a white gel pen. It doesn't show up very well.
Since I have watercoloring, stamping and heat embossing,
this fits the CAS Mix Up March Challenge too.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

So pretty and peaceful.
Great effect, loving the limited colour palette and loving this contemporary Christmas card.
Beautiful "splotching" Bonnie. :) This is so elegant with the black, white and gray. Hope to play along this week at Merry Monday. xx
Bonnie, beautiful in its simplicity, so calm and peaceful! Awesome card!
That stamp set must be SU's longest selling one! It is "lovely"! Love how you used it here. That splotching technique is one I'll have to remember! Do you just add a splotch of water to your paper and then drop in some color? Beautiful card!
Simply beautiful! I love the gray color on this Bonnie.

Simply beautiful black and white winter design Bonnie. TFS my friend.
Very elegant! Love the spray of stars and snowflakes. It would make a great masculine Christmas card.
This is gorgeous! Such a wonderful winter scene. I like that it isn't stark like you might imagine with Black, White, and Gray. So lovely!
When I saw the inspirational photo, I wasn't sure how Christmas cards were going to look in those colors. But I have to admit, the cards I've seen look amazing!! As does yours! I love the watercolor splotch technique you used on yours, it gives that illusion of a night time sky. I love that tree and of course the stars and snow just adds the perfect touch to the splotching technique. Really beautiful card Bonnie! Hugs, Brenda
I love your beautiful tree Bonnie and it looks so elegant in black and silver. The stars and snow in the background highlight the tree perfectly. x
Beautiful CAS design Bonnie, your sentiment is a perfect match for the wintry scene you have created.

Wow~! Such a beautiful scene you have created! Love the technique!
I love the movement on your card, Bonnie. It looks like the stars and snow are being blown onto the tree, or vice versa.
